Does anyone else hate reality TV?

But you know what really bugs me? I dont like those shows so I choose not to watch them,no big deal. However I can tell you just about every twist and turn on every one of them because it is all you hear about!!!! Between Regis & Kelley, The View, Today Show, etc...its all I hear about. The are way over talked about.

I hate them with a passion. There are so many of them now that it's just about impossible to watch tv, because you can't manage to miss them. Everyone at school talks about them and I can't understand why they waste their time with them. I've watched several, and hated them all. American Idol is sometimes tolerable, because it's funny to see who thinks they have talent. I really don't consider that show to be reality tv, but I still don't watch it more than once or twice a season, if that. Survivor is POINTLESS.

I HATE it so much. All of it! I have no problem with other people who like it, but I would honestly rather be shot than have to watch any of it. I see enough people acting like idiots in real life. I have no desire to sit around and watch it for fun. It just doesn't interest me at all. If I'm going to spend time watching something, I want something that is well written and well acted with a great plot - not two guys trying to see who can eat the most cockroaches without vomiting or some girl trying to figure out which guy she wants. WHO CARES???

I do hate reality shows.......but I did take a liking to the Apprentice. This is the ONLY one I watch. Not even sure if I'll watch the next season...

I only watch a couple of them, but for the most part would also consider them "game shows." I do however feel that this adoption show on 20/20 may be pushing it too far.

I don't care for any of those shows. The one show that I do watch is Queer Eye, is that considered "reality tv"?

I would put Queer Eye in the same catagory as "Make Over Story" on TLC. So no. I also wouldn't consider it a reality show.

I've tried to sit through a few of these shows (Survivor, The Apprentice, American Idol--the WORST show ever IMO--who wants to hear a bunch of awful singers?). I didn't care for them one bit. I don't "get" them at all.

I don't understand how so many people are caught up in these things and watch them whenever they're on. I don't have that kind of time to devote to TV.

I love reality shows So much better than lame sitcoms where every other word is 'sex' anymore. I don't mind watching most of the reality shows (nothing sleazy) with my kids, I can't sit and enjoy a sitcom with them anymore. It drives me nuts the way they can't go 2 minutes without talking about sex.
