Does anybody think Michael Jackson faked his death

I think I just saw him at the local 7-11. There was also an odd looking guy with big sideburns.

I saw several of them look at the camera and say Michael was anti drug and they don't believe he had a drug habit.

And perhaps the ones who said that do not believe that an Rx is a "drug". Maybe they only think drugs are cocaine, heroin, crack, etc. Or maybe they think as long as MJ had a perscription for the drugs he could not have possibly been an addict.

I'll admit, my very first thought was that he was faking his death b/c I hadn't heard about his London shows and thought he was still in Behrain or wherever he was living. But I abandoned that thought pretty quickly.

Of course, him and Elvis will be traveling the U.S. in a trailor disgused as Bert and Ernie. :rotfl:

For those of you who really do believe this, may I ask you a question? How old are you and what is your educational level? Are any of you really college-educated adults?

That doesn't make them good actors, it just makes them stupid

No and I think his doctor killed him by supplying him drugs for his addiction.

He was an addict and not thinking clearly. He couldn't plan his way out of a paper bag.

I hope he did. I'm hoping he, Sarah Palin and Kate from "Kate And Eight" will all suddenly show up as the headliners in a hilarious new "celebs share a house" show.

Not for a minute do I think he faked his death. In fact, I wasn't all that shocked when the news broke that he had died. He was a very damaged man.

No, but I think he led a fake life.

No, I think his Dr. had a hand in his death, possibly an Accidental Overdose, or the wrong drugs, but he DID NOT FAKE his death...I truelly believe he is as surprised as we all are, of his passing.....:guilty:

I have a hard time using the word "accidental", when he was given a drug, propofol, that should have never been used outside of a hospital operating room. The physician who administered it should be charged with at least manslaugher. Any physician who administered it to him over the last two years that he has used it, should be charged with assault and battery. He is unfortunately dead and didn't need to be.

Actually, I graduated cum laude, thanks. I don't believe it full-stop, but I wouldn't be surprised if 10 years from now he resurfaced, not for a second. And I don't think my education level has anything to do with conspiracy theories. But thanks for the insult :thumbsup2

NO. He would never do that to his children. I saw how devastated his daughter was when she poke at the memorial service. He may have been many things, but I do believe he wholeheartedly loved his kids.

I agree.

These conspiracy theories come up all the time about famous people dying. Look at the Elvis one...still people claim they see him places. It happened last year with Heath Ledger and people thought he would come out at the Oscars and laugh at us all. Sadly he didn't and he is dead. Just like Michael is. I wish he wasn't but he is gone. :(

I wouldn't say conspiracy theories have anything to do with educational level, age, or intelligence. That's like saying the belief in the paranormal has anything to do with those and I'm a college-educated adult working on my Masters, as well as working from home, who definitely believes in the paranormal (and a few conspiracy theories, but not many.)

7th grade but that's two years further then anybody else in my family before me. Momma wept at my 7th grade graduation right before she spit out her chew.
Actually dual bachelors Cum Laude, working on my masters.

I had the thought but I don't think that's what happened.

I had that thought too and I always had it about Elvis. Of course DH thinks I am crazy but who knows? I guess the only thing that is keeping me thinking it is not true is the kids I do not think he would put them through that.

You're welcome!:rotfl:

Actually, it astonishes me that a college educated person would believe this, even for a second. Do you really, really mean to tell me that you think there is any way under the sun that Michael Jackson faked his own death and will appear again in the future?

For the record, I don't think the conspiracy theorists are in the same camp as the paranormal believers. Although I think all of that is made up stuff, too, I do think there is an element of personal faith in the belief in the afterlife, ghosts, and paranormal activites.

But believing Michael Jackson faked his death is just ridiculous.:rotfl:

I am not only college level but have a masters as well degrees in psychology, art and education! I also have enough courses to get a docterate but I am too lazy to write my dissertation.

I guess the first thing I want to say is stranger things have happened when it comes to people disappearing. Look at Whitey Bulger!

Second, college degrees are just a piece of paper and those who feel they are BETTER than someone without a college degree in any respect need look only as far as someone like Bill Gates, NO college degree! One more little note on college education WHO MORE discusses, and believes in conspiricy theories than college professors?

I will admit that the idea of MJ being alive is far fetched but then again don't many ideas that have been proposed in the past seem far fetched to the unenlightend? If you lived in the 1400's the Earth was flat and if you lived in the late 1600's in Salem if you floated in water you were a witch not to mention that blood letting and using the same unclean hands and instruments contributed to the death of many women after childbirth as recent as the late nineteeth century. I never judge someone because of their education or those who think out of the box.

Yes, I do believe it's a possibility. I think he was a very disturbed individual. But it does not consume my life. Having a thought and being consumed with conspiracy theories are two very different things.

However, I think it's terribly rude of you to insinuate that believing it's remotely possible for something like this to happen has anything to do with a person's educational background.
