Does anybody besides me think the magic bands are uncomfortable?

I tried my magic band on last night and it just doesn't fit good. It doesn't lay flat on wrist so I can see myself being uncomfortable all week. Lol
I don't know if it's the my skinny wrist or if that's a common problem people have.

Funny thing is I hate anything on my wrist. Actually I am not a fan of jewelry either so I typically just wear my wedding ring and nothing else. I thought for sure the magic band would drive me bonkers but I didn't notice it at all the week I wore it.

I know though the some people don't actually wear theirs, they loop into onto their purse or something like that, maybe you could do that.

Mine felt uncomfortable, but the more I wore it, the less noticeable it became. You might want to try flipping it so that the mickey head is on the inside of your wrist, where you would check for a pulse. You will have to turn your wrist under to get the "turnstiles" to read it, but it might feel better that way. I tend to wear my UPband backwards because it fits better that way, my wrist is flatter on the inside and more rounded on top, so it just feels better backwards.

It's just annoying. Also can't stand that it falls to one side all the time, which also means it's not in position when I have to go Mickey to Mickey.

I didn't like it at first but got used to it. I even forgot I had it on when we went off the world to Target.

I wear mine so the Mickey head is on the outside of my wrist. It lays flat that way on my wrist and is easy to put up to the reader.

Two trips .. one in pretty hot weather and I hardly noticed it. My 3yo who dislikes anything on his body (band-aids, stickers, etc.) wore it from morning to night without ever fidgeting with it.

I've had watches (in the past when watches were worn) that were more sweaty and fell off more.

This is exactly how I wear mine too, I find it fits much more naturally on my wrist this way. :thumbsup2

In general, I too I don't find them very comfy, particularly in the heat. When I get back to the room for the night, I'm pretty much taking it off as I'm walking through the door.

But in the big picture, I really don't mind dealing with the slightly bothersome aspect of wearing it, because I LOVE all the convenience of my MagicBand! :cutie:

Mine felt comfortable (I also took the outer part off since I have a small wrist), but my friend found hers uncomfortable and attached it to her purse the whole trip.

Did you take off the gray part to make it smaller? I have skinny wrists and that's what I have to do to make my Magic Bands fit comfortably.

Yep! Carefully remove the gray guard of the band apart from the color guard of the band. This is what parents usually do to make the band kid-size. I do it because it's more comfortable and the band looks nicer too! ;)

Funny, not only don't I notice it when at WDW, and I wear nothing on my wrists, but when we finally get home I think I have it on when it's not there.

I don't like them. I think it's b/c the adult size is too large, but my wrist is one "hole" too big for the kid size. They also make my wrist sweat.
It helps if you cut off the excess, a bit past the right-size hole. It made it much easier to put on and it was more comfortable. The first time, I took off the outer part (I do fit the kid size), but I didn't like how jaggedy it got on the sides, so the next time I just trimmed it and it worked out.

I have extremely skinny wrists to the point I must remove the gray part and put it on pretty tightly. I also don't really love wearing stuff on my wrists so I thought it would bother me but it hasn't really yet, in fact I've often forgotten I'm wearing it. Now I wear a Fitbit daily so I think I've gotten used to something being there, but it'll be interesting to see how bot the Fitbit and MB feel together on the same wrist.

If you haven't yet removed the gray part, I would definitely do that! I tried it with the gray still on and it was horribly uncomfortable and didn't sit flat-ish on my wrist. With it off it was a world of difference.

I ususally wear mine the day before we leave - by the time we arrive it is more wrist shaped.

Also we wear ours on the outside of our wrists but upside down if you are looking at the mickey head. This means just a quick flick of the wrist and we are Mickey to Mickey and getting the go ahead green light.

Keep trying to wear it a little at a time - also we don't wear ours too tightly because of the above mentioned sweaty wrists. There is a little movement and that is comfortable for my family.

i hate anything on my wrists and i don't wear much jewelry at all in general other than my small hopp earrings and i did not find the magic band to be uncomfortable at all.
within a few minutes i forgot i had it on.
i let the mickey head part sit on the outside of my wrist.
if you have tiny wrists then adjust it to be the child size.

My wrists are little, and I never wear bracelets or watches because of it. I worried the MB would be uncomfortable for me, too. It felt a little funny when I tried it on at home.

But I honestly forgot I had it on once I was in the parks. I didn't have any problems with the comfort aspect of it. I didn't remove the gray portion to make a kids' band, either, because I worried it would be a tad too small in that case.
