Does anybody besides me think the magic bands are uncomfortable?

I don't mind my Magic Band but I have seen some with so many bandits. I think I would not be comfortable If I had a bunch, I have one DVC slider now and that's enough for me.

I cut off most of the excess gray part and then stored it fastened at the right holes. I can fit it kids sized but only barely and I don't like the look. Storing it at the right size helped shape it to my wrist for the smaller size.

Can't stand them. If I wore it snugly enough so the Mickey head didn't slide around, my wrist felt hot and sweaty. If I loosened it so my skin could breathe, the Mickey head was never properly positioned when I had to use it. And I'm used to wearing a watch every day. From now on I'm just going to attach it to my purse strap.

I don't mind it but it certainly doesn't fit well. They need to not have a flat side or else perhaps two flat sides.

I hate and I mean HATE wearing things on my wrist. I don't wear bracelets or watches and if I do try to do so, I end up taking them off pretty quickly. Yet, the Magic Band didn't bother me at all. I forgot it was even there which never happens.

I take the gray outside off since I have bird wrists and still wear it two or three notches in. I don't even know I have it on, as a matter of fact I sleep in it sometimes just because I forgot I had it on and I've worn it home and driven 7 hours and it wasn't until I got home an DH mentioned it that I realized I had it on. I do wear a watch every day (Disney of course own 14 of them) and a bracelet so that might be why it doesn't bother me.

I think it is very uncomfortable. I attach it to my bag's strap and just use it from there or pull it off when I need it.

I don't like them. I think it's b/c the adult size is too large, but my wrist is one "hole" too big for the kid size. They also make my wrist sweat.

Trim it! Trim it down so it fits then use a strong nail file to smooth it down.

And consider buying or making a "cover band". The ones at the parks are a sort of swimsuit like material and are very cooling.

If you want to wear them. I find them to be no more useful or easy than the cards in a lanyard pouch so I don't have to wear mine at all.

I wear mine so the Mickey head is on the outside of my wrist. It lays flat that way on my wrist and is easy to put up to the reader.

Yes. Same.

I'm not a fan of the feel of the bands. My wrist gets sweaty and I had a hard time turning my wrist the way it needed to match "Mickey to Mickey".

I did find that putting the mickey head on the bottom of my wrist helps and when Disney was selling those material wraps that go on the bands, I bought 2 and they helped with the sweating issue. I just wash them at home after my trip. I wish they still sold those since I'd love to have other designs.

They aren't selling the coverbands anymore? Weird!

Putting the Mickey on the outer pointy part of the wrist bone makes it easier for entering the parks. Can't remember how the FP Mickeys are oriented. But for paying, when we set up charging, I want to have the Mickey on the pulse-side of the wrist.

I despised wearing the MB. I constantly fiddled with it and took it off whenever I had the opportunity. Plus I have very pale skin and burn easily so I was typically covered in sunscreen, which made my wrist very sweaty and unpleasant coupled with the MB.

I have skinny wrists also. I don't like to wear the band tight because of the heat and sweat. When I wear it loose, it really doesn't bother me.

I have trouble matching Mickey head to Mickey head. So I got in the habit of taking off the band when I needed it to make contact with something, then putting the band on. I'd like to be able to just detach the main center portion and attach that to a stretch-coil bracelet or necklace.

Not a fan. We all found that our wrists got sweaty and icky, and DD broke out in a rash from it. We kept ours in our park bag, making them more of a PITA to dig out each time than if we'd just had KTTW cards.

Yes this! It's so frustrating and I don't think I could cut it smooth enough to shorten it.

I have big wrists. The bend that the band makes coming off the mickey head section doesn't match my wrist at all, so it is always off to the side, making it a pain in the pants to get it lined up for scanning.

I think they need to get together with Samsung, and design a smart watch type device that runs MDE, connects to the cell phone, displays time and weather and such, has the magic band functionality built into it, AND . .. . is rechargeable, so you use it year round as a smart watch / fit bit sort of deal, then in Disney World it doubles as your magic band.
