We have used Alamo for years and have never gotten anything from them other than the email confirmation when we make the reservation. When you make your reservation you are given the option to prepay at that point and save a little more off the reservation. If you don't choose that option, when you get your confirmation email you can click on the save time option and put in your information before getting to Orlando and then you can use the kiosk for a quick rental. We used the kiosk last year and it took about 5 min to finish putting in the info they asked for and then we just walked across the street and picked out our classification vehicle. You then just show your license, paperwork and any coupons at the exit window. Also, at that point, make sure to inform then if you notice any damage on the car so that they can record it on your rental and then you won't be blamed for it.

Alamo has online check-in - when you do that, you can just go straight to the cars with your paperwork and pick out a car in your category. You check out your car at the exit booth.
