Do you wake up in your bed every morning?

For the record...by T&B's definition...I won't be waking up in my own bed in the morning. :rotfl2:

I guess that I should answer my own question! :teeth: We've lived in this house for just over 6 years and I've never slept in another bed, the couch, etc. We don't really have any extra regular beds, but we do have several sleeper sofas, an aerobed, a trundle bed, and a rollaway. We are putting a fullsize bed in what was (is?) our college DD's room so it can double (excuse the pun) as a guest room. So maybe when my DH snores I will have a place to escape to. But I'd probably make him leave, me being the loving wife that I am. ;)

I find that a good, swift kick in the direction of the offender helps to stop snoring. ;) :teeth:

I almost always wake up in my own bed, or at least the bed I went to sleep in the night before. The exception to that would be if I had a big night of drinking the night before. Then I have been known to wake up in odd places....kitchen floor, bathroom floor, bunk bed, next to the washing machine, lawn furniture.....and those are just some of the comfy places.

Usually I elbow him, but from his reaction you'd think that I'd castrated him. I sure do hear about it the next morning! :rotfl2:

I've poked, prodded, squeezed, pinched, elbowed, kicked, pulled hair (head and armpit) and told him to roll over so many times that one night he barked in his sleep. Ever the comedian even in sleep.

:lmao:

I generally sleep in my bed. Some times I do fall asleep on the couch. There was that one time I fell asleep on the toilet and when I woke up my legs were asleep.

You must not have been sober to fall asleep on the toilet! No way!

Teva, you DH sounds funny!

My nephew used to walk in his sleep and one time when my sister was visiting he was found in the bathtub at my house. I should remind him of that since he's all grown up now! :lmao:

:rotfl2: Yeah, I can relate here! I always gently touch his shoulder and he wakes up like he was dropped from a 10 story building and I ask him (very gently) to roll over on his stomach and he will say something nasty - in his sleep! :rotfl:

My thoughts too....how many drinks did it take to get you to that point!?? :lmao: :lmao:

I would love to be able to say that I had been to one humdinger of a party, :woohoo: but to be honest I actually had a stomach virus. I put my head down on the edge of the sink (the sink was very close to the toilet) and fell asleep. I woke up an HOUR later and my poor legs were dead, I could barely walk and had to slide down the stairs to get to my bedroom.

Now THAT....I can understand! :guilty:

I tend to wake up half-way through my shower. I cannot recall the last time I actually fully woke up in bed.

I'm afraid that today I woke up in my bed--to my 6yo telling me that the dog threw up in the crate. UGH, I don't do dog barf, but thankfully my DH cleaned off the crate mat so I could toss it in the washing machine. What a nice way to wake up. Usually when she throws up it means that she's had a seizure--hopefully that's not the case since she threw up a few days ago when we weren't home and we assumed she'd had a seizure then, too. Poor dog--she wasn't having them often and I hope she's not getting worse.

Yep, wake up in my bed every morning.

Hope your dog is ok TB, mine had a tendency to get sick too, had to switch his food. Of course it's 3 times the money as his other food.

Either my bed or my boyfriends depending where I was the night before.
