Do you wake up in your bed every morning?

I'm sure you wouldn't, but do you really want a Jack Sparrow Jr. running around? :lmao:

My DD has a Captain Morgan Jr running around.

To answer the original question...sometimes I do. Well actually it depends on what I consider my bed...if all the beds in my house and the couch count then I say 99% of the time I do. I have woken up in other places some other times though.

I know...you all are surprised.

well every morning its the same routine, Get up at 6:15 stand under hot-as-I-can-stand-it water and wait for signs of life.
when that doesnt happen I give up and head to the kitchen where my coffee is brewing and hopefully there is enough for me to drink THEN and only then am I awake.

Thats my motto: Instant Human, just add coffee.

Yeah, surprised, uh huh. Is that the right answer? :teeth: But I consider your bed the one in your bedroom. Not to be picky or anything.

You are one step ahead of me. I can't even shower until I've had a cup of coffee. And then another. And another. And then I eat if there is time. And then scurry to throw on some clothes so I can bring my 6yo to the bus since I no longer have time to shower. :rotfl:

Icebrat - the whole family here has a sinus infection that has all those same symptoms. Antibiotics for everyone!!!

As for waking up in my own bed - yes, I do. I just never know who will be lying next to me! ;)

(that would be either one of the kids or DH. Get your minds out of the gutter!) :rotfl:

A gin and tonic with lime will definately help brats cold.
A couple of gin and tonics with lime may account for the other 2% when I don't wake up in my bed. :teeth:

Not to be picky...yeah right.

In that case, lower that to about 90% or less of the time. I spend a lot of time on the couch or in another bedroom. :rotfl2:

yep i wake up in my own bed with dh next to me,no ds but, sometimes a cat or two .........well except for that business trip to boston in feb. a group of us went out to the black rose pub and closed it down around 2:30 back at the marriott copley at 3am and the next thing i knew i was waking up to the bill being shoved under the door into my head........i sat down with the big fluffy comforter while dh used the bathroom and umm well that is all i know............thank god we only have 2 business weekends a year like that or my liver would be pickled. (oh and dh had curled up next to me on the floor....sweet huh?!!?)

I guess that I should answer my own question! :teeth: We've lived in this house for just over 6 years and I've never slept in another bed, the couch, etc. We don't really have any extra regular beds, but we do have several sleeper sofas, an aerobed, a trundle bed, and a rollaway. We are putting a fullsize bed in what was (is?) our college DD's room so it can double (excuse the pun) as a guest room. So maybe when my DH snores I will have a place to escape to. But I'd probably make him leave, me being the loving wife that I am. ;)

Sometimes I wake up in the floor, outside, in the dog's cage, in the ally behind the local bar, in my car, in the middle of a giant peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you know the usual.

Is that some kind of a rodent in your picture? I certainly hope you've never woken up with him. (Or is that a picture of him right after you did wake up with him? :rotfl2: )

It's a hamster. And he's famous so we actually haven't ever met. But if I ever do wake up next to him, I'll let you know.

What's he famous for?

It's from this t.v. show from the 80s in the UK called "The Young Ones". His name is Special Patrol Group.

When at all possible, I try to. :confused3 When I was in a sorority, it was actually a house rule. :confused3 It's okay to be out all night, but be in your own bed by morning. :teeth:
