How many of you use the people that help you bring your bags to your room? And are you supposed to tip them? I know at hotels you're supposed to tip but do they expect it at Disney?

I tipped the bellhops at Wilderness lodge, they unloaded my car and I gave that guy a tip, then a different guy brought up my bags and I gave him another tip, plus I tipped the vallets as well, lots of tipping going on that week, but it was well worth every penny. They were fast and friendly, the thing I loved the most is when I pulled up to the wilderness lodge they came right out and just helped and was like go in and check in we will take it from here you are on vacation, and you know what they are right and thats the way it should be, I had a ton of stuff too, they were fast and polite so to me its worth every penny.
When we pulled into the Yacht Club, we were approached by a bellhop but my husband told him he will carry the bags himself. This guy actually said "Come on, sir, we rely on these tips!". I was surprised he came right out and said that.

YES! You are suppossed to tip the bellman. Customary I believe is $1.00 per bag. When you check in they will give you a little resort newspaper and it should list inside which positions the WDW staff expect to be tipped for -- bell services, valet, etc. Many people tip mousekeeping as well although Disney lists this as a not needed to tip position.
