When I spurce up and do my hair funky I look younger. Also two y ears ago when I wore no makeup and hat on to buy beer I got carded, I was 39!

I have gotten carded 3 times in the past three years. hee hee

My DS's friend's mom looks so young my DH thought she was the babsitter the first time he met her, she is 39! LOL

People have told DH that he robbed the cradle with me when he says she is only two years younger than me, they go huh? Then ask our ages and are flabergasted that we are the same age as them. I guess they think we started (married and kids young).

It depends on the day, the hour and the wardrobe!

Nope--I think about 75% of us have a high opinion of ourselves (and that's not a bad thing)!!

Also, I think when you are in you early 30s, the "slide" hasn't begun and you can easily pass for your 20s. From 23-33, I think most people look the same.

Wait until you hit about 39-40.

Hmmm. What's interesting to me is that it seems like just about everyone thinks they look younger than they are (including me!). But it can't be true for all of us, can it? It's kind of like how just about everyone thinks they're a good driver!

Well I doubt the people who know they look older really want to admit it!

I always used to look younger than I was, but now that I'm 43, I think I look it, which I guess is better than looking even older, but I'd rather look 30. One girl at the kids' school did tell them recently that I looked 20. They think she's crazy, but I like that girl!

I always thought so but then I started a new part-time job and everyone thought I was a college student. I'm 35. I even got hit on by 2 college age kids you should've seen their faces when I said I was 35, they were like ack! old lady.

Feel- yep. Look- nope. Not most days anyway! LOL. Blessed with pretty good genes and I don't smoke (which does age you early folks!).

I have people ask how many kids and ages all the time. Can't believe I have a son who is 26..... (but I was a BABY when he was born!! LOL).

I agree with Christine. I think most everybody thinks they looks younger than they really do. Esp. "us" because we, as Disney lovers, are so young at heart!

As a hairdresser, I rarely meet peeople who don't "look their age". I do a lady's hair who claims she is 60 but I'd guess 50 (& she does indeed color her hair) but those are few and far between. You can't always go with the ol' "people think I'm younger than I really am" because *people* tend to be very cautious and say nice things--being polite and we all know how a compliment makes us feel about ourselves and about the person who gave it to you!

I just turned 41 and I suppose I probably look 41. I see people I went to HS with around town and always think *they* look so "old". LOL I always get the ol' "you haven't changed a bit" comment and people seem to know me and remember me so I just think I look the same but older!

I do have a little boy client who always asks me where my sister is and he is talking about my DD. His mother tried to explain to him that i was her mom but I "shushed" her and soaked it all in!! LOL

That has happened to my DH too when he has been out somewhere with our son. He is the same age as me, but has gray hair, so he does look a little older. I have always looked young for my age, I am in my late 30's, but I would say I look more like early 30's. I still got carded up until about a year ago, but I can't imagine that anyone really thought I could be that young.
