New Little Mermaid show and Lightning Lanes?

So I’m reading the new Little Mermaid show will be operating continuously starting at 915, and that it will have Lightning
Lanes available. We will be able to book our Hollywood Studios LLs for May 29 on May 20. We hadn’t planned on booking a LL for that show, but now I’m wondering if we should, as it is bound to be popular that soon after opening. Any thoughts? Also Villains if that proves to be the same.

I have been wishing for new shows for ages!

Usually the shows are designed to hold a ton of people who want to rest between rides so I suspect there will be a lot of room, maybe you can find a glimpse of the space online to help you decide?

Might be an unwarranted concern but I’d be afraid of being all the way to the side since LL guests will likely enter first and be encouraged to walk all the way to the far side of the theatre. Personally I’d just do standby but I could be wrong.

Shows are typically not a good use of LL. They have such high capacity it’s just often not worth it.
