I have a theory: We all look so young because, obviously, as Disney lovers we are all kids at heart!

I think it's like guessing someone's weight - people low ball all the time. then we all think we look younger than we are. It might be they think we're younger or it might be that they think we're older and just being nice. I know I always guess lower than I *think* someone is.

One time I guess someone's age (she had a group of us do it ) and I thought she looked 40 so I said 35 and she was 32

When people ask you how old you think they are do you say what you think or do you knock a few years off what you really think?

Yes, I do knock off a few years --- or pounds. And I've guessed low also only to find I'm not low enough! UGH!

Okay I came back and this thread really took off!! And after reading thru every post and looking at all the pics, it's official. I AM the oldest looking 34 yr old on the planet!!

I look a lot younger than I am. I am 26 and frequently get mistaken for a middle schooler. While I like looking young, it would be nice if people thought I at least looked like a high schooler. You should’ve seen the looks I got in the bridal salons when shopping for wedding gowns (I was 24 at the time). Luckily I think I looked closer to my age on my wedding day, which is a good think since I didn’t want to look like a 12 year old getting married and have to explain that us Georgians do that kind of thing.

IMO, there is only one person I've seen so far on this thread who looks younger than they are. I won't say who. I do think people tend to think their peers look older than they do, its human nature to feel that way. But most people really do look their age.

Someone I know through work asked me to guess her age...I thought she was about 32, so I guessed 29....she was only 22!!!!! TOO MUCH SUN, I think.

I've been told time and time again that I look younger. I was looking for a formal last month for a church function and I was asked about buying for Prom. I'm 29... I didn't realize I looked 17 or younger though

If *I* am one of the young lookin' ones....

I smoke - I have since I was 16. I lay out inthe sun and go to the tanning bed, occasionally. I hate water - I never drink it. I dont take vitamins...Ummmm, I drive fast, stay up late, swear like a truck driver.... I do everything youre not supposed to do.

I told you! It *will* catch up!!! One day - POOF!

I know for a fact I look at least 10 years younger than I am. I'm 42 in a couple of weeks and people are usually stunned that I'm over 30. I get carded each and every time I buy alcohol. I'm appreciating it more all the time!

I'm going to be turning 40 in t minus six months. Yeesh. But most folks think I look much, much younger. In fact, I've gotten the aaaahoooogah eye ball popping look from people I've met that are in their early 20's. For some reason, they start talking to me much louder and slower, and start calling me "sir." Go figure.

Ok, here's another one! I had to track down this picture of me and my dd, taken last summer. I had to take a picture of it since it's not in my computer! I think I look like her sister, not her 30 year old mom! That's OK with me though.
