Do you think I'll be able to get anything at the 7 month mark?

I have heard the stories about December being the busiest time of the year. I am interested in a studio anywhere for December 14-21, 2008. I am using developers points so 11 month does not apply. Do you think there will be any studio availablity across the boards at the 7 month mark? I am also aware that you can not be waitlisted with these points.

My head is spinning trying to figure out this whole DVC thing. I can not imagine owning at 4 different home resorts! You must have a Ph.D in DVC-ology!

We got a studio at AKV for Dec. 20-26, 2007.
(We first tried for VWL but they were booked).

It's not our home resort, & we didn't call at the 7 month mark though, either.
Since it was new, I think they had just opened up AKV at a certain time for non-owners, & DH called then, although not the first day...he called about a week later.

It may not be as easy this year, but we had no problem in 2007.
