No.



I know for a fact that I've busted my rear to make that place magical for over five years. :wizard: Many many quality Cast Members are doing the same. It can't have gone downhill since I'm making it a better place!
In spite of what we see as lacking nowadays, the CM's help to keep us coming back. I couldn't do what you guys do in a million years. :)

Thanks for working so hard! If all of the CMs had your attitude, it would make the little glitches on Disney trips easier to handle. Most CMs are fantastic. It's the ones with a bad outlook that can dampen a vacation.
 

The disney execs themselves could easily hault this threadby just addressing alot of the concerns listed in the thread! I also say thank you to the cast member on this thread you do a tough job with what sounds like little compensation.I personally think the problems lie way above you in the higher ups!

I agree that some people like to complain, but it depends upon what your definition of complain is? I think there are lots of great stories, experiences, tips and ideas on this thread, from diehard, regular and loyal Disney fans. I don't consider many of them to be complaints either, but valid observations from a myriad of WDW experiences over the years. Some great stuff has been shared on here, IMHO!

I totally agree. :) But I was responding to the person who said that Disney execs could put a halt to this thread by addressing the concerns listed here. My point was that it wouldn't matter. Even if every single specific complaint here were addressed and fixed to the complainer's satisfaction, there would still be complaint threads on the DIS. That's all I meant. Wasn't talking about anything else that's been written here or anything like that.

Yes. (These are JMHO. They are NOT ALL REFLEXTION OF DISNEY WORLD OR THEIR OPERATION - IT REFLECTS THE OVERALL DISNEY EXPERIENCE. They do not reflect the collective or others views - they are personally my own and are not meant to offend anyone or meant to reflect the views of any Disney Character, Cast member or park go'er.)

Not in any particular order EXCEPT for #1!

10. Rude people of all ages (general comment).

9. People throwing trash off rides - especially water bottles.

8. Loud Music Played at main pool during the day - CSR.

7. People talking during inside performances/shows.

6. Quality of Disney merchandise.

5. Variety of Disney merchandise.

4. Lack of Buses to and from parks (this may not be true - it just seems we wait longer for transportation then we used too).

3. Variety of Souvenirs from shop to shop/ park to park, resort to resort.

2. Used to never see them working on the park and future attractions during the day.

AND

#1. Rides break down more often!

Excellent post. Speaking of Chic Fil-A, their customer service is bar-none! It's just not average service, it's above average service. They always have a smile, always, ALWAYS pleasant, will deliver to your food at your table (with a smile). They always say thank you, yes ma'am, no sir, etc. etc. I love going to that place. Now with that said, why can't Disney do the same?

So right about Chic Fil-A.

Our Chic Fil-A hires high school and college kids. They speak well, are over-the-top friendly, they smile, they are...um......clean - uniforms clean and tidy, the order is filled right and it's spotless.

I had always assumed we just got lucky here in Annapolis. Obviously it is a mandate from the corporate offices.

I'm sure the pay is low.....so Disney has no excuse.

I blame, whoever is conducting the interviews and hiring, these duds. There's no excuse. I'm sure, there's no shortage of bright, creative, polite applicants.

There is an easy solution to this; just ignore the threads and posts that do not agree with your own opinion, then you will be happy and so will those who don't share your opinion. And from hear on out I will try and not make any misteaks in my spelling when I comment so that you will not be offended and will also ancourage others two do the same thing. :confused3

I'm sure you are correct that there would still be some who complain, but I sure would not mind a couple of responses from WDW execs when I contacted them via email and snail mail. Two years and waiting. ;)
