I've been accused of being a "purveyor of evil", but I often protest that I am only an acolyte at this point. Still have some course work to finish before I graduate to a full fleged purveyor of evil. Hmm... I think that book is on next semester's reading list.

I think you'll find the book quite helpful. Not only does it discuss the finer points of hiring minions but it also delves into the often overlooked subjects like name choice and the importance of an evil laugh.

Okay, let me be blunt. There are idiots that live in this world. Can everyone agree on that?

Idiots annoy me. Greatly. They may be coworkers, people I run into on my daily routines, acquantances, you name it. Idiocy does not discriminate about whom it affects. Could be anyone. When I am forced to interact with them, I become frustrated and cranky.

I often vent this frustration and crankiness by telling someone who is NOT an idiot about the idiodic behavior I was just subjected to.

I am a bad person. I will grant you that. You win.

Just so I understand...you haven't even been to the board to see if what you are being told is true? At least that would explain why you posted incorrect information earlier about what was being said there...

EXACTLY, and that's why I said "according to what I'm being told." Because I'm not positive so I'm not going to say for a fact it's true. And I also said on the other post it was WHAT I WAS BEING TOLD. I said several times I didn't know it for a fact and that's why I was asking the question to begin with. But when many, many people are telling you the same thing, one wonders if there was some truth to it. But again, I haven't seen it for myself; so I have never said with certainty what is or is not true, I've only told what I've been told and have specifically qualified it as such. And if you want to give me the link so I could look, that would be great - but instead of doing that; you keep telling me to go look but no one gives me the means to do so - kind of a circular remark on your part which you do on purpose to make me look like I'm not saying anything valid and you are when in fact you aren't.

So you're basing all this on hearsay, not first-hand knowledge? A sort of he said/she said situation?

Before passing judgement I would prefer to get all the facts myself -- seeing it with my own eyes -- rather than depending on what someone else told me.

AND, I'm not passing judgment - I have always said IF it is true, it's offensive and immature; if it's not true - then it's not - I have never said anything other than that. So, no I'm not basing it on hearsay, I'm saying if the hearsay turns out to be true, then it's a sad and immature situation.

Are you telling me it's not true - that no one is making fun of anyone else here on another board?

I've noticed that no one has come out and said that.

and they did Michie - on this board which I was totally fine with - and I agree it was gross and funny - but IF what I'm being told is true, about mean things they said about my dh as a result, I would have rather they said them on this board so I could defend him. that's all. and if they didn't say mean things, great.

You never asked if there was other people being discussed -- you just mentioned your own situation. Methinks you're being fed information about the board in order to make the board sound worse than what it is. I can think of a lot of people who'll do that.

I just went and read it over and what is there is TMI (too much Information), Gross, Puke and etc. The worse thing posted is that somebody said it was awfully twisted of a spouse to post something like that under their wife's screenname.

I didn't participate in that thread on the other board, but I have no problem at all saying to you -- here to your face as you have requested --- and you are free to share this with your husband -- yes I do feel

Thank you Toby's Friend, I appreciate you posting it. And my dh is not twisted at all - it was just a funny thing he did. And although embarrassing, I found it funny too. It was a good, gross but good, joke. It's not humiliating to me b/c none of you know me and it's obvious it's not true. He is a sweet wonderful guy who just does some funny things - which now that you mention it, may be twisted . But considering he treats me well and other than housekeeping skills, or the obvious lack thereof, he is a great dh.

I'm glad you found out something that helped you feel better. It certainly seems like someone really wanted you to think the worst and hurt your feelings by giving you just enough information to upset you. Pretty dastardly.
