There are so many different Mickeys to take pics with-Safari Mickey, Sorcerer Mickey, Chef Mickey, Mickey in a tux, Farmer Mickey, etc, I was just wondering if everyone takes pictures with all the Mickeys or do you skip a few? We always eat at Chef Mickeys and usually skip the park photo ops, but last time were ran into Mickey and Minnie together in their sparkly blue YOMD attire and couldn't pass up the picture, especially if it's a Photopass, I was just wondering what everyone else does? Are there favorites or hard-to-find Mickeys?

well the mickey at chef mickeys is just regular mickey, the same as the one under the tent. so i wouldnt bother to wait in that line.
if the line for sorcerer mickey isnt too long that we will wait, i like that one.
but safari mickey, i can take him or leave him. if theres no line, why not. but iwouldnt wait more than 2 minutes for him.
ive never seen a farmer mickey, and unless youre getting marrried, you probably wont see tux mickey.

so yeah, if the lines arent there, why not, but i wouldnt wait.

We get EVERY Mickey. DD needs every one. And their autograph too. I have many Mickey signatures. Whatever makes her happy, keeps us happy.

Chef Mickey comes around to the tables, dressed as a chef. No line needed for him. I prefer the character meals, as they are usually dressed different. And you don't have to wait in a gazillion lines! Bonus!

But it's fun to find the different ones. I agree, I wouldn't go out of my way and stand in long lines, though.

Yes, we get every mickey, every Minnie, pluto, donald, every character!

guess i was wrong, i went back through some photos and he does come out in a red coat and hat. dont know why i forgot that. hmm.
no i meant i wouldnt wait in the tent line. that things can be over an hour long at times, crazy!

We love Chef Mickey's because Mickey IS dressed as a chef, We haven't gotten a pic yet with sorcerer Mickey, maybe we'll try this time. Any others? I guess there are all of the Holiday Mickeys as well...I should have posted pics for a Mickey Montage!

If you go to the tent late at night the wait is very little, or really early too.

No, we don't take photos with every Mickey. We do Chef Mickey's and that has always sufficed as our Mickey photo/auto opportunity for the trip and we haven't felt the need to get any of the other Mickeys. Except we were there during Star Wars weekend a couple years ago and Jedi Mickey was there and we did get in line for that one.

I really enjoy meeting the characters, but I seem to pass on Mickey quite often. I actually haven't met him on any of the last three times I've been to WDW and have never met Mickey in his Ak Safari outfit. :confused3

I meet them all. I have all the different Mickey outfits (that I have seen) on my website.

I was surprised that my DS wasn't interested in meeting characters more than once regardless of their outfit. We met sorcerer Mickey and when we were in AK, we saw all the others but he said he had seen Mickey and didn't need to again (saved a lot of time in character greet lines though!!)

there was a thread somewhere where someone had asked to see the characters in different outfits. it was mostly joanna and myself but we posted dozens of photos for the main characters. i haven't been able to find it since though.

they are very good in that each character meal has a different outfit. heck mickey even has a couple of different uniforms on DCL.

even the outfit he wears at Donald's Safari Breakfast is different than what's been referred to as his traditional safari outfit.

We love to get photos with Mickey as many outfits possible as many times my daughter has lots ofMickey dresses:cool1: :cool1:

Obviously you haven't met my kids!! ha! EVERY Character. EVERY time. NO matter how HOT, how long the line is, how many times we have already hugged that character. I thought it wouldn't be that big of deal when the oldest turned 7, but it's still every time. In fact, Cinderella said "oh, I see we've met quite a few times"....yes, like 8 times this week!!! My husband and I are into the characters too, so we don't mind. My kids are more into the characters than the rides.

But, our friends had their first visit last fall (boys ages 5, 7)...They weren't interested in one character. Never wanted to stop, even when there wasn't a line....NOT EVEN FOR JACK SPARROW!!

YES YES YES..... You only live once! :)

We've got pictures with several Mickeys-- Farmer Mickey, Space Mickey (ran into him randomly in front of Mission: Space), Sorcerer Mickey, Safari Mickey, and Christmas Mickey.

Oh, and regular Mickey, too. :goodvibes

Farmer Mickey is at Garden Grill @ The Land (EPCOT). He wears a cute plaid shirt and overalls. :)
