Very strange. I assume they didn't wait until after Christmas to return them? Because many stores have different policies for seasonal items. I have no issue with that.
And 90 days sounds quite generous. I will happily continue to shop there.
That's pretty much the only place I shop and I've never had an issue with a return. I think 90 days is more than enough. They've taken back clothing items that didn't hold up after my kids wore them a time or two without issue and took back a Dyson that lost suction after we used it for a month. On the Dyson, I couldn't find the receipt but took it back anyway because I knew they could look it up in my red card. But they couldn't find it on my red card because I had gotten a new chipped card since making the purchase. They still did the return and gave more than I paid in cash. I told the manager that it was more than I paid but she said it's what was coming up in the system and she appreciated my honestly but that's what she had to go with for the return.
As for electronics, 14 days is pretty much standard I thought. We bought a computer and a DSLR recently and were told we had 14 days on them.
