Do you redo restaurants or do new ones??

we repeat the ones we love and cycle thru the rest. I try to add a new one every trip.

LOVES
Le Cellier (only get in about 25%)
Brown Derby
Artist Point

Rose & Crown Illuminations is our first night tradition.

This year we are trying Sanaa at the new AKLV.

We do a bit of both...I love trying new places but there are some faves that we dont want to skip

we try out the new ones and then when we go back we go to our favorites. i can't tell you how many times we have been to ohana and kona! since we've gone so much now, we pretty much agree on our favorites because we know we like them and there good. we have them lined up now for our free dining trip. can't wait!!

we like to try as many new ones as we can fit in...seems to be working out to about 4 or so new in a one week trip. We are slowly working our way through all the restaurants! Then I guess we'll have to start trying the same places for different meals. By the time we work through them all I suppose the menus will have changed so we can start all over...it's a tough assignment but somebody's gotta do it. We volunteer!:lmao:

New dinners for this May will be Rose & Crown, 1900 Park Fare, Yak & Yeti, Sanaa. Repeats are Les Chefs de France, Le Cellier and Mama Melrose

In September, (hopefully) new dinners will be Tutto Italia, Sci Fi, San Angel Inn & Raglan Road, and Boma for breakfast; repeats for dinner will be The Wave, Mama Melrose & CRT for dinner

Normally, we stick with our traditional base of restaurants. This year, since we'll be taking a shorter trip (6 days), we're only keeping two of our traditional places, Chef Mickey's and Citrico's, and going with two newer ones, Ohana's and the Sci Fi Dine In Theater.

Although, we have a core that we pretty much stick to, and we may rotate from year to year or trip to trip. We're trying Ohana's because we're going with a large group and I think it has something for everyone, and Sci Fi (which I have eaten at before, just not recently) because my four year old son is so into cars right now, I think he'd get a huge kick out of eating in one. :thumbsup2

Much like my quest to stay at all the resorts, I also try to eat at as many restaurants as I can. In our next two trips I think we're repeating 1 or 2... and Kona is an every trip visit for us. :)

We eat a lunch TS and dinner TS every day at WDW. Usually there's 4 of us and we all pick one lunch and one dinner place we each loved and then do all new ones for the ones left. Although, during our last trip SO many of our favorites were awful experiences so we may be doing things differently next time. We've not eaten at 3 or 4 WDW restaurants so we're running out of new ones anyways.

We "discovered" Wolfgang Puck Express last time (we're not huge CS fans) and it was one of the best meals of the trip. We may all be picking this one for our next trip! :)

We're kinda new to the Disney dining, so most of the visits have been new restaurants for us thus far. Moving forward though there are definitely some restaurants that we'll repeat every now and then - Ohana and Boma in particular - we've been back to those twice already.

I'm planning a trip in Sept and we'll try 2 new restaurants out of the 4 ADR's we'll make - Restaurant Marrakesh and either the Wave, Kona or Tony's (we're undecided at current, leaning towards the Wave.)

Both.

Luckily for us since we purchased DVC we have been able to go to Disney at least 2times (sometimes 3 ) a year. So this allows us to do repeats and try new things. Basically at this point though everything is a repeat it just depends on how long ago we have been there. So we like to break it up a few favs mixed in with a few we have not done in a while.

Last trip I tried 50's prime time for the first time and we loved it so we are going back. We also had Tokyo dining as was not too crazy about that so it will be a while before we go back there.

I tried to mix it up a bit last time, but I think we'll be doing our favorites next trip. We might try The Wave and maybe something else new, and I think our old favorites that we go to will be Kona, Whispering Canyon, Coral Reef, and Ohana.

We've been so many times that almost everything is a repeat but we definitely mix it up from vacation to vacation.

Same here. I've actually created a spreadsheet of all the restaurants on property and recorded when we were last there. I can sort by date and try to include locations we weren't at for quite awhile. Or try restaurants at a different meal than usual. Of course, any NEW restaurants always come to the top of the list!!

Good question... I had to map it out to see how I do it.

Next trip:

New: Restaurant Marrakesh, Hoop Dee Doo, CRT (dinner), Tutto Italia, The Wave, Tusker House
Repeat from last trip: Biergarten, Flying Fish, Hollywood Brown Derby
Repeat from several years ago: Beaches & Cream, Kona Cafe (Breakfast), Chef Mickey (dinner)

Looks like it is 50/50 for us....

However, I tend to make more reservations than we'll keep.

We do both old & new each time.

For our last trip we tried Rose & Crown during Illuminations on our last night :cloud9:and decided that it would be our last night tradition. We have a first night tradition of dining at Ohana during Wishes.

This September we plan on repeating WCC, Coral Reef, Teppan Edo as well as the aforementioned places. Our new ones are CRT lunch, Yak & Yeti, 1900 Park Fare dinner and Akershus. We are considering adding Mama Melrose Fantasmic Pkg(which we have done before) just to get good seats for Fantasmic.

I do a little bit of both. There are some places we must go to every trip (Le Cellier, Crystal Palace and Bongo's). For the rest of the ADRs we try to always pick at least one or two places we've never had before.

Gives us a chance to try new things while still enjoying our old favorites.

We try to fit in at least 2 new places each trip. But, we do love so many that we go back to, so sometimes it is hard to fit in new places.

Our all time favorite is Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. It is a 2TS restaurant, but it is worth it! We absolutely love it. We will never stay at WDW and not have a meal there.

I love to try something new each trip, but DH likes to go to places that are familiar so I have to sneak in at least one new place every trip - which usually ends up becoming one of his new favorites and he says, "We have to eat here again on our next trip!" :upsidedow

We are just back from WDW and did 8 TS meals. I truly enjoyed all except one. We are thinking of WDW for next year and I'm thinking of which ADR's to redo and which ones to try new. I would do them all over again but I think that would be a bit boring. :scared:

So what do you do? Have 1 or 2 repeats and then all new or do all new ones each trip.

Well we do have some redo's, but we always try to try one or two new places each time. So far, some of those have become redo's ( which also means there's less and less room for new tries haha ). Why just last year, we did 50's Prime Time Cafe. now we HAVE to go back there again.

We each choose 1 favorite.. I already know what they will be...
Dh picks Le Cellier
DD picks Coral Reef
I pick The Wave (they give you 3 awesome desserts, nuff said!)

Then the others we pick from a list of ones we have NOT tried yet, look at the menus, look at the schedule, etc. We try to keep it atleast 50% new places per trip.
