Do you read your pm's right away, or do you wait?

I have it set so that as soon as someone pm's me I get the pop up, so I read them right away.
Just wondering what other DISers do. Do you read them right away or wait untill you are done DISing?

At home, they pop up. At work, they don't.

Sometimes, I don't respond right away if I want to take more time to do a response and I'm just checking real quick.

When I get one I read it as soon as I know about it. Some times the pop up doesn't work for me. And I don't get too many so I don't check that often.

I read them as soon as I get the email. I don't have pop-up.

(when I first read the title of the thread, I was wondering how someone can read PMS. Maybe I shouldn't have had DECAF coffee this morning, lol).

I go to my pm's first. Then I open up a 2nd window, that way I have one open for pm's, one open for the boards. I don't use the pop up, I just use the F5 key.

I read them when I see them, usually they don't show up on that main forum page where it says if you have PM's though. So then I usually stubble on them when I remember to check them, which usually is every couple days.

I usually read them right away, it's answering them that I'm bad about There's one I need to reply to today (should have replied a couple of days ago).

I read them pretty much right away... only once in a while will I hold off. But I don't always reply immediately.

I always check PMs first. Then between boards I go to my User CP so if any come in during the time Im on a board, it will show then. I usually try to respond right away, but sometimes if Im in a rush I cant.
