Do you pack any toys or things to entertain the kids?

Just to let you know, up until a few months ago, Disney did not own the Disney store. And the stuff there is much different than what is at the parks.

My boys each take a small backpack for the trip. Mostly filled with their "people" (StarWars, Spiderman, Buzz/Woody, etc). On the plane, my 5yo has a PSP to play/watch, my 3yo gets a DVD player. Well worth the investment for long plane rides. They play with their toys at the hotel too. I would never think of travelling without them. I let them bring one toy to the parks each day, I mostly carried in by bag - but they did play with them while waiting for shows or food.

We bring activities for the plane, AND activities for restaurants (colouring books, stickers, etc) and we bring pool toys.

I'm not sure who posted it or where, but someone else had mentioned taking balloons to blow up. She said she took them to the airport, then blew them up and let the kids toss them around to occupy some time. I thought it was a pretty good idea. I know my kids would love it and it would probably take them occupied for a nice little period of time. :)

Pool toys are a good idea. Some kids had some micky type bth toys and my DD ketp stealing them. Well they let her play with them too, but when they were leaving it was hard to pry them from her hands. LOL!

I don't like the ballon idea. My kid/s would get roudy bopping it around and it would more than likely hit someone or my kids would trip into people chasing the ballon.
