Do you need a generator in order to play "Don't hit the floor?"

I was in a room, and she didn't have a generator. She said "If I say "no" you say "no" last one that says "no" gets a box taken away" IMO you NEED a generator to play. She didn't even have 6 spots, and it was popular! How can mine (that has it how it is suppose to play) isn't popular? but when it's twisted it's popular?

No sorry you dont need one its cool that she came up with her own idea and its her room she can play how she wants

Its a great game this way, it becomes a typing contest which I love. Its just a new form of the game, not twisted, different. I only like to play this way, which involves skill. Generaters never are lucky for me.
