Do you like this idea for guests on the DDP at counter service locations?

Even though my family and I have not done the DDP from what I have read whenever someone who is on it gets a reciept at a counter service location, it says how many credits they have left and etc. Well a few times when I was just in WDW I guess you can say I was the un lucky person to behind someone who had problems ordering at counter service locations and before everyone goes crazy, this not a thread on how bad the DDP is. Anyway I was thinking because you don't really know how many people save their reciepts if WDW should install a thing at all counter service locations where guests on the DDP can scan their KTTW cards before ordeing? My feeling is that it can tell them how many credits they have left, so this way there are no problems at the cash register and going back later to them when you realize there is something wrong.

Rather than go through the cost of putting them into each CS place at the entire resort, why not just place one in each park at guest relations and at each resort in the lobby. While we are all pretty savvy because of what we learn on the DIS many others might not know to look at the bottom of the reciept and even though told when checking in there may be too much information and all that excitment.

The other issue are guests who aren't sure what's included with the plan. Resort food courts allow some items as snacks but not as desserts for example. I think a better solution is to have a CM, at least during busy meal times, walk around. They can answer questions as to what's included as well as use an empty register to check on how many credits a guest has available. I'm not sure if that could be done with a wireless scanner.
