Do you like Marshmallow "Peeps"?

I loved Peeps when I was younger. Now I can just stomach eating a couple. I wonder if it's because I ate too many as a kid, got sick of them in general or got sick after eating them at other times of the year besides Easter.

Come on, sugar-coated marshmallows? What's not to love? And I'm glad they came out with the other holiday versions too; it saves me from having to pull the marshmallows out of a box of lucky charms, wet them down, roll them in sugar and eat them like Peeps Pop Rocks!

Always thought I was weird cause I would open the package and let them sit for a few days and let them get stale before I would eat them. Still like them but stay away from the sugar coated little babies now.

I like them ok. My Dad can't stand them, though! So, naturally I started a tradition a couple of years ago to get him a box of Peeps every Easter. I also bought a shirt in his honor. It's got a peep on the front with an olive branch in his little beak and it says "Give Peeps a Chance"

Unwrapped on the Food Channel just did a show about Peeps. They make all sorts of different kinds all year long. They even mentioned that people like to open them up and let them sit for a few days before eating them-so all you stale Peeps lovers aren't alone.

Stale Peeps fan here. I cut open the cellophane on the package and let them sit a few days.

Exactly what I do, but only at Easter. I never buy them at any other time of the year. It just wouldn't be right.

OOOOOOHHH! I love love love Peeps!!! I try very hard not to buy them at the stores too often because I will eat the entire package in one sitting.

And what's up with most of you liking them stale? Yuck! I want them fresh out of the package. Oh yeah! Once they've sat around for a day (if they even make it that far, ha ha) they get tossed (or I let my kids have them!)

Unless it is in a Rice Krispy treat (and looks nothing like a marshmallow)...

I don't eat any marshmallow of any kind! (May the Stay Puft Marshmallow man rest in peace )

I love them!!! I have to buy at least 2 packages each holiday/season they come out. In the winter I love them in Hot chocolate. YUMMY!

I think they are cute and a littel "kitschy" (remember them from my chidhood..long, long ago). However, they are too sweet for me - prefer chocolate...the one time I bought them for DD she did not eat them, so I haven't bought them since. I think the popularity and spread to other seasons is due to the whole nostalgia thing - resdiscovering something all over again!!!!

we are slao vegetarians and try to avoid marshmallow - although I have never told DD "absolutely not" or taken away marshmallow candy she recieves as gifts.....(I know it sounds silly but I have been known to "forget" and grab something cute/fun for her stocking....)

My kids and I love them. We also buy an extra packet to blow up in the microwave, one at a time. It's so much fun to watch the Peeps' little eyes bulge out while they expand....
