I know at Easter time the stores cary the marshmallow sugar coated chicken peeps. I was in Target tonight and they had snowman ones. Am I the only one who thinks these are :crazy2:

It was the one thing we always threw away after the holidays with easter grass stuck into them, can't imagine putting them in my kids stockings for Christmas.

No :crazy2:
Peeps look totally cute with an adorable name, but taste like pooh.

I don't like them, but DH and DD#1 love them!

They make them for halloween, easter, christmas....and there are also orange creme ones.

If I put them in DH's stocking or their Easter Basket, I put the whole package, so it doesn't get sticky.

Have you been following me???? I just posted in another thread...

I found COCOA PEEPS!!

CHOCOLATE PEEPS people!!!

 I found mine at JoAnn fabric store at 80% off of Halloween stuffs!!!

Yes, I love them. But, I like them better when they have been sitting around a while and get chewy. :thumbsup2

They're not PEEPS if they're not pink, yellow or white chicks or bunnies. It's great that Just Born can capitalize on the other holidays like Halloween and Christmas, but I just can't get used to pumpkins, bats, Christmas trees and snowmen shaped PEEPS. It is nice to have them available more than just one time a year.

I love peeps.

I used to work with a girl that would make S'mores with Peeps. She did it at work too. She'd go to the Walgreen's next door and get the grahams, a big Hershey bar, and the box of 8 Peeps. Put the whole mess together and then microwave it. Even I was grossed out:crazy2:

Nope, not a Peep fan, although they are cute and colorful. I'm just not a real marshmallow fan anyway unless they're in hot chocolate or maybe s'mores. :)

I had a friend who said the only proper way to serve a peep was to let them sit opened in very dry closet for a week and then launch them with a wiffle bat. :rotfl: He also told me that he could go out a month later and the dried peeps were still there, nothing would eat them.

Stale Peeps fan here. I cut open the cellophane on the package and let them sit a few days. I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes them a little dried out. In fact, the Food Channel had a special on Peeps and said there are many, many people who love stale peeps. Mmmm mmm. My DH actually gets sick to his stomach if he sees a Peep.

I like them, but usually only have one or two. Now that you mentioned them, I have a slight craving so I'll have to pick some up at Target tomorrow. :teeth:

BTW I agree with a previous poster- why are they called 'Peeps' if they aren't shaped like a baby chick?? :confused3

Yup, love me some Peeps. Prefer them after they sit out for a while and get a little hard, though. Ooshy Peeps not so much my thing. :)

I like 'em!! Kinda like them stale too :teeth:

*Is planning a trip to target tomorrow to check out the snowman ones*
