Do you leave any lights on

One light over the sink in the kitchen. If the kids or I need a drink of water I prefer to have that dim light on rather than turn on the overhead light. The overhead light is way too bright but the light switch is intended for the sink only so it is hard to access up against the backsplash especially in the dark. Other than that we can pretty much navigate around the house without the lights on.

We have a nightlight on in both bathrooms. Both kids have lava lamps on all night. The outside light at both the front and back door are on.

When we lived in the townhouse, we also had a light in the stairway.

Nightlight in DD1's room, nightlight in the bathroom, light over the stove in the kitchen, front porch light, side porch light & motion-activated light at the garage/back slider.

None, don't need an outside light as I have a street lamp outside which does the job. Saves on my electricity:)

I don't leave any lights on, but I do have a motion sensor light at the top of the stairs.

Absolutely no lights on inside (or out for that matter). We know the layout of our own house pretty well and, more importantly, we know where the light switches are located in every room. We also have these little gizmos called flashlights. Neet little gadgets. Highly recommend. :thumbsup2

I don't leave any lights on in the house at night.
We're supposed to leave our outside post lights on at night, but nobody on my street does. I leave the lights on either side of my garage door on though.

No...AND NEITHER DO THEY AT THE SUPER BOWL!! :rotfl2: Sorry, I couldn't resist!:lmao:

I saw this today on facebook: Next year the Super Bowl will be held at a Motel 6...because they always keep the lights on for you! :rotfl:

Okay, I'm done!

We leave the light on at the top of the stairs because our cats like to sprawl out in very inconvenient locations in the middle of the night & we don't want to trip over them!

We have a 17 yr old cat who can be very vocal at night. Keeping a lamp on in her room (technically it's the office, bug she sleeps and eats in there) keeps her a bit quieter. Also have a nightlight in hall. Outside we have two motion detectors.

DD has a very dim nightlight in her room. Other then that, this house is dark at night. We have outdoor lights but not enough to light up anything other then the kitchen.

My wife has always kept a night light on so she can find her way to the bathroom. @#$%ing thing makes it hard for me to fall asleep, even after 18 years :headache:

Only when company is here. And Christmas Eve we leave the tree on all night so Santa can see. pixiedust:

Just two lamps - one in the den, one in the living room. Both low wattage, energy saving bulbs.

I try not to. I have a night lights that turn on when it goes dark. The outside lights come on when the sun goes down. :)
