Do you know someone who "can't" help themselves?

I think she has a mental problem.

Well how bad is her problem? Is she just a rat that does fairly well in life without too many bumps in the road? Or does she talk to herself & answers too? Either way, a rat is a rat and they know what they are doing. That's no friend. Usually they do it to diminish others in order to make themselves look great. Not good friendship material.

Is she an equal opportunity offender or is she worse to people who aren't her friends? I always try to remember...keep your friends close and your enemies closer!

She's a "sad sack" type. Both her parents have died in the last few years. She is deep in debt. And, "I" believe from that time when dated her, that she may have had a bad experience with a man prior to me.

I do know, that at age 47, she hasn't had 5 dates since we dated 12 years ago. And she is attractive enough.

OK, anyway, I was curious about what people would think.

BTW, she usually has a heart of gold. She organizes projects for our troops. She volunteers in a children's ward of a hospital. And she is the one that walks around getting everybody to sign birthday cards.

I don't know. Then what do you think her motivation is in ratting?

I ask because I shared an office with a person that was a rat. Real nice guy in just about every way. Likeable, warm, friendly family guy. Did a good job. Didn't need to be a rat. But he was. I do know it made him look a notch above the rest of us for ratting us out and him walking the line (mostly). The boss always commented on what a gem she had in him. Commented that he was always on time (he wasn't, no one ratted on him), stayed late, etc., etc..

Oh well. I guess rats can come in all sorts of varieties.
