Do you have trouble with certain words?

I have problems saying 'statistics' and I work with them every day.

I don't have trouble with "occasion" but NEVER seem to get "occasionally" right without spell check! I can never remember if there is one "c" & two "s" or the other way around. :(

If I'm writing, I have the worst time trying to spell Shannon. I usually put too many n's in it.:o

The "psy" or "phy" words sometimes give me trouble.
Psychiatrist, physiology...

and "conscience"

There's more but I can't think of them right now. ;)

i am a terrible speller, my family can tell you that. you know how many school papers i would have failed if it wasn't for spell check. an odd fact: i always did good on spelling the vocab words for the week but as soon after i took the test i would forget them again.

has any other bad speller noticed words you can't spell, you also can't say sometimes?

i could never be a proof-reader.

(hey i think i spelled all the words right in this post :D )

I've just discovered another really difficult word: Reconnaissance. I was just writing something at the office using it and had to type it three different ways before the spellchecker recognised it and gave me the correct spelling!

Here's another one I have difficulty with: Caribbean.

I remembered it today when I was typing "Pirates of the Caribbean" into another post.

License always gave me trouble.

I'm a great speller but a dyslexic typer ;)

AND, how do you SAY the above word --

I always say Ca-RIB-be-an, BUT

whenever I say Pirates of the Caribbean, I say Carib-BE-an

Go figure!

It used to be tomorrow. I used to spell it tommorrow but now I've trained myself. I can never SAY "Renovation" and I don't know why. It isn't that difficult of a word but it always comes out "Renoveneeation".
