Do you have trouble with certain words?

It doesn't matter how many times I've written or typed the word 'Colleague' over the years, I still have to spellcheck it every time - and it's always wrong!

So am I alone or do you also have difficulty with certain words?

Two words, NIECE and MISSPELL...

I consider myself a good speller and these two words get me everytime.

Niece is one I always have to double check too. Lose & loose always confuse me too.

I am not an awful speller, and not a perfectionist. As long as I am understood (never failed yet) I am comfortable with my spelling. PS~ please dont tell DD(11) this I want her to be more accurate, as her spelling isnt for chat, its for grades

Being dyslexic, I have many words I have trouble with. I always had trouble with tomorrow and business, not sure why. I am just thankful for spell check

There are words I never use because I know I will misspell them (that's one!). Camouflage is another. I just had to use spell check. I was wrong once again.

So is receive with an I first? Since there is a c, shouldnt it be e first?
Dont forget unless it sounds like "a" as in neighbor or weigh.

Lots of different words. Sometimes it's the simplest ones that get me. lol

I have a dictionary close by. I should really use spell check instead.

Yes I do, but until that word comes up next I really cannot remember what they are!

I'm not a bad speller but it is nearly always the same words over and over again - that's when Word comes in very handy to double check!

I'm normally a pretty good speller, but "spell check" is a wonderful thing.

My biggest problem comes with the keyboard and arthritic fingers that don't always point where I think they are. The tips of my right-hand ring finger and pinky are now a full key to the left of where it used to be and the index finger is a full key to the right.

I also find that, as I get older, I'm becoming slightly dyslexic* and am reversing letters in some words, e.g. "words" gets typed as "wrods".

* I definitely had to run dyslexic through the spellchecker, I didn't have a hope of getting it right without checking it first!
