Yes, you need a MYW package (including at least a one day base ticket for each person in your party) in order to get the DDP. The only exceptions are: annual passholders can book a package including just room and the DDP and DVC members and their guests who are staying on points may purchase the DDP without buying tickets.

All of those "add ons" you mentioned come with all MYW packages, not just those with the dining plan.

There's no separate cost/breakdown for those add-ons. Nobody has to use them, but they're features included with any Magic Your Way package.

Only two ways to get out of having to buy a MYW package to get the dining plan:

Buy an annual pass, or rent points from a DVC member.
