As a Red Sox fan...

The Yankees (thought the TV was going out the window in '78.)
The Mets (thought the TV was going out the window in '86.)

As a Patriots fan...
The Steelers...they always trash-talk the Pats. And Kordell Stewart was the most overrated player ever. Didn't he just get cut by another team?
The Raiders...no media person gave the Pats credit in the playoffs in '86 (or was it '85? My brain is foggy at the moment), plus they play dirty.
The Cowboys...they proclaimed themselves "America's Team" in the 70's, and there were kids in my MA school wearing Cowboys shirts. The team could have a losing season for the next 50 years and I wouldn't forgive them.
The Jets and Giants...they're from NY.
And I will never forgive John Madden for saying the Patriots should just take a knee and play for overtime in Superbowl XXXVI. I know he's not a team, and I don't exactly hate him, but I can't stand looking at him or hearing his voice.

In our house we really dislike Dallas and the Washington Redskins. DH also dislikes the Boston Red Sox, but I can't say as if I do. We are fans of NY in this house (Giants and Yankees).

Then there was the 2001 Fiesta Bowl where the sports media were so sure that ND would win they didn't bother to learn anything about Oregon State.

Don't you just love it when that happens?? In any sport, college or pro? When the broadcasters start having to eat their words and/or don't know what to say???
Oh and being a Boston College alum, I gotta say I'm kind of anti-ND myself, though I'm not a big college footbal fan!!

As a BC alum married to a UNH alum, we both hate Maine in college hockey (sorry pumba ) I hate BU too.

Pro sports...I'm a Sox fan, don't have to repeat what a lot of others have said about the Yankees

Actually "hate", for me, is way too strong a word...I know there ARE people that feel very strongly about sports, but hate's a little too strong for me...well except maybe when I see smug Yankee faces and Yankee fans, but what goes around comes around eventually...even if it does take 86 years

Well, growing up as a Red Wings fan, I obviously have to hate the Evilanche.

As far as college sports ... I can't stand Michigan State, or that team from the state directly south of Michigan. (I can't even mention their name this week)

Atlanta Falcons!!!!! (I used to hate the Braves too but don't care much for baseball anymore so I'll just use all my hate energy against the Falcons).

So much hate for the Cowboys, wow! Focus all of the negative energy towards the Cowboys on Christmas Eve when they take on the Panthers, please.

In no particular order:

Dallas Cowboys - My dad was a Redskins fan, and I guess the hate for the Cryboys just rubbed off (but not the love of the 'Skins)

New Jersey Devils - Absolutely ruined hockey with the most boring style and scheme in the history of the game (the neutral zone trap). Team should be disbanded.

Pitt(iful) Panthers - As a die-hard Mountaineer, it's in my blood.

Miami HurriCons - Excellent lesson in how to win the WRONG way

Boston College Eagles - Tried to pass themselves off as among the "elite" of the Big East, despite never finishing higher than 4th, save in the year before they ran away (under the lying leadership of their Catholic PRIEST president) for the ACC

Virginia Tech - Quote from their president: "If offered, we will NOT accept any invitation to join the ACC". Two weeks later, the governor interceded with the ACC on their behalf (the conference didn't want them) and they bolted. Interestingly, though you won't hear the bigshot sports announcers talk about it, VPI never finished higher than 3rd in the conference without Michael Vick...and had a losing record against WVU, Syracuse, and Pitt the last 5 years. Most obnoxious fan base - with as little reason - as anyone outside of South Bend, Indiana.

Notre Dame - Most obnoxious fan base. Period.

Being a Niner fan, I hate the Dallas Cowpies.

The fans of that team on the other side of the Bay, are just downright scary though.

Absolutely hate the NY Rangers also greatly dislike, but don't absolutely hate as much as the Rangers, the Maple Leafs- can't stand their goons
