Do you have a favourite CM?

Mike from New York, he's a character handler in MK, well at least he was this November. We saw him several times and made sure to stop and chat every time. His love for Disney was infectious. We even waited in line for 20 minutes at City Hall just because we wanted it to be known how awesome he was. Hopefully next year when we go we will be able to find him and be able to say hi.

Holly!!! She works at the CR 14th Floor Tower CL! I never quiet understood people on here bringing gifts to CM's until we met her! She is so personable and we always have good conversations. (It is such a small and intimate lounge - all CM's are like her but she is extra special to us). We can't wait to see her again in September!

There is a lady outside of where Merida meets! We have seen her several times over the last few years and she is from Germany - about 20 minutes away from where I grew up! She knows we have a bond with a certain "friend" of Merida and always tells us when/if she will be there!

My cousin actually met her husband via a favorite team member at universal! We met him at the MIB ride and rode about 30 times that trip to see him. He gave us the tour of the ride and even rode it with us to show us the big point targets. After vacation ended they kept in contact and were married a few years later. You never know when you will meet the one!

We've met lots of Legacy CMs around the world and they are always so fascinating to chat with. They are always good for a story or two! I'm a bit sad that we are losing more and more of these longtime ambassadors who lived through so much of Disney's golden years.

We also LOVE Mayor Weaver and Fairy Godmother... Never miss an opportunity to visit with them.

Yes, I've heard loads about Teena at BC, and had the opportunity to meet her once. She has a loyal following on the resorts board. Sad that she retired.

Years ago we met a CM server at Olivia's (Old Key West) His name is John Bond (also known as Big John) He would always remember us, even when we only saw him once a year. He has since transferred to Prime Time Restaurant at HS. He has a perfect Personality for his job and goes above and beyond to give everyone a fabulous experience. If you ever have lunch or dinner at Prime Time, ask for him... it will be an experience you'll never forget ( in a good way) :)

Boat Driver Tom! He was one of the drivers on the boats between Port Orleans Riverside and Disney Springs (then Downtown Disney). He was super funny and informative. He was actually from our area, too, and we got to have a few nice conversations with him over our trip. Unfortunately, he was a CP, so it's unlikely we'll ever see him again, but he gave me a lot of good information about the Disney College Program as well.

I'm almost certain we met her last year! She was great.

All the bellmen at the Swan, 5 or 6 of them. They are great!!! Each time I return, I'm greeted at arrival with my name and throughout my stay. What a wonderful group of men. They are so pleasant to spend a few moments with each morning and evening.

Auntie Claire at 50's Prime Time. Another gem. Love looking at her scrapbook with her.

Olga and George were great at Writer's Stop in the Studios. Always nice stopping there in the morning for coffee and a roll and a short conversation with them. George wound up going across the way to Tatooine Traders at Star Tours for a few years and recently retired. Olga remained at Writer's until just recently, and retired also. Miss them both.

Another would be Mama T (her name was Theresa) who worked in both Swan and Dolphin Concierge Lounges. I believe she retired right when Starwood retired the lounges from both the Swan and Dolphin. She was amazing!
Mama T was for sure, amazing. Along with her was Thabo, when they had the Club level at the Swan. Thabo works concierge at the Dolphin now. Even though I usually stay across the way at the Swan, I always make a point to stop over at the D to say hello to him, great guy.

Bruce, from Port Huron, Michigan. He is a ferry boat captain. He is exceptionally friendly and sings (amazingly) as he pilots the boats from MK to the GF to the Poly and back. Absolutely fantastic!!

Several years ago, we were helped by a lady in the Confectionary who was just the sweetest woman ever, and so kind to our boys. Every trip since, we have popped in to see her, bringing her small gifts. We always schedule our visit to see her in our itinerary, and if she is not in, we return multiple days until we find her. We just love being her 'regulars' and she always welcomed us with the biggest smiles and hugs.

Anyone else have one special CM that makes their visits magical? If so, is there anything you do to let them know? We fill out cards for her at town hall regularly, and as mentioned, bring small gifts from home. Anything else we may be able to do to show her how grateful we are for her kindness every visit?
The grandly dressed elderly gentleman who greets guests entering the Grand
Floridian.

We had a super nice photopass photographer at MK that we saw 3 years in a row at different character meets (2012, 2013 and 2014). He was great and went out of his way to help with my kids (first time we met him I was on my own with my oldest who was 11 months and running everywhere). we didn't see him this last trip unfortunately.

I have encountered wonderful CMs on every trip. During my solo trip in January, I stopped by City hall to book a couple of last minute ADRs. "Claire" helped me with that and she was delightful! She really made me feel welcome and I so enjoyed visiting with her. She really embodies the Disney spirit!

A few years ago, I had breakfast at Crystal Palace and the CM who took my picture with Tigger also held my phone up and took a selfie with me and Tigger in the background. It was hilarious. I don't remember his name now but I still have the picture. :thumbsup2

I also found his Tumblr about a year later and recognized him because he makes the same facial expression in all his own selfies!

Was she an older woman, I think her nametag said from St. Louis? If so she was so kind! She was like "textbook" perfect service and so friendly!
