Do you get ready everyday?

Same here. If I don't shower I can't seem to get myself going. Plus, I just don't like how it feels to be un-showered.

That's me. And I don't like to be caught "unawares" like if I had to go out or if someone dropped by. And most days I am going somewhere...the term "stay-at-home mom" is a misnomer!

I "get ready" every day-mostly because I like to look nice for DH. It makes me happy when he gives me a big smile when he walks in the door-and I know how I look has something to do with that.

I have to admit that I was lazy when he was still in the service and was deployed. Nobody to dress up for I guess.

Oh no. I only "get ready" on the days I plan to leave the house.

I start to change clothes as soon as the door shuts behind me when I get home from work. Within 2 minutes my bra and work clothes are gone, my hair is up and I am in my pajamas for the night. I only wear a little bit of makeup at work, so whatever is still there when I get home is it. On days off, I do not get dressed unless I am leaving the house. DH is the same way.

Uh, ecuagoddess, are you my twin separated at birth? I am the exact same way - clothes changed before I even get to my bedroom, getting those blasted shoes off is top priority. On days off, if I have to leave the house, I will wear clothes - clothes, by definition, being the sweats with the fewest number of holes in them and a bra - but no makeup or any hair products.

It is really scary to bump into someone on those days off - and happens, of course, quite often.
