Do you get ready everyday?

I rarely ever wear make-up, only if I need to hide the circles under my eyes from no sleep :P Otherwise I can be dressed and out the door in minutes. My hair is a lost cause unless I straighten it, which takes about an hour, so that rarely happens either. I brush it, pull it back, and go.

I have to wear business-casual clothes for work, but outside of work you will find me in sweats and a baseball cap most every day. Good thing DH knew what he was in for when he married me on that front--but I do like to surprise him every now and then and actually look like a girl :) I've just never been that overly concerned with looking perfect. Presentable-yes, but I'm not going out of my way to impress anyone.

Probably stems from spending so much of my time when I was younger getting hair and makeup done for when I was performing on stage or tv. That was the only part of performing that I could have lived without.

It feels like a chore to me! I do it most days but as soon as I'm "in for the night," whether that's after dinner or after school, I get into my comfy pj's and sling the hair back into a pony tail. I do try to look nice on the weekends, so dh can remember why he married me ;)

I totally agree. Once I'm home from work, I'm in my pj's or at the very least some type of comfy pants/shirt. The first thing I do after I get home each night is kiss my kiddos, change and throw my hair up...although I will say I really don't mind how I look then at all because I still have my make-up on.

I hate "getting ready". I do it most days though. Now that I'm not working anymore I tend to let my hair air dray and then straighten it later if I'm going somewhere. If not, I put it up in a ponytail and call it a day!! I usually put on a little make up because I don't want to scare the mailman!!

On work days (5) I get up shower, put on make up, wash my hair every other day at least sometimes every day, if wet then blow dry it, and if it's a non wash hair day I pull my hair back in a clip or ponytail. Dress in work clothes.

On non work days that I have plans, I do the same routine except I usually only put on tinted mosturizer or part of make up, put on jeans or shorts and tshirt and go about my day.

On non work days with out plans, I shower at some point and hang out in my comfy non public clothes:rotfl:

I shower and get dressed every day. I don't wear much make-up even on normal days, but I do always wear a moisturizing sunscreen and usually a little powder. If it's a lazy day at home, I might wear sweats after I shower. Clean sweats.

I just feel icky and miserable if I don't start each day fresh. I make the bed every day, too.

I am exactly the same way, I can't stand to sit around in my jammies all day, I feel so yucky if I do, I feel dirty , I don't know why. Also like you, if I am not going anywhere, I will shower and put on clean sweats or Yoga pants or something like that but hey I am weird I will take a shower to clan the house and then another one after I am done. I just can't get anything done without my shower first.

I am strange, Every day no matter what, I get up, take a shower, brush my hair flat iron it. And put on make up. But I then..proceed to put my pj's back on immediatly after my shower, unless I have somewhere to be.
lol

ok I agree that one is a little strange...but at least you're a clean strange.:rotfl:

The way my life goes, I'd have baby spit-up on me almost as soon as I got out of the shower....kinda makes you feel like it's not always worth the effort!:rotfl:

i do my makeup every day, sometimes i don't mind having greasy hair, but i spend the majority of my life in sweats & sneakers.

The only thing i like about winter is that it's appropriate to wear sweatpants and hoodies all of the time. That, and your beer stays cold if you leave it outside. :rolleyes1

Shower and shampoo everyday. Makeup= not so much. In fact when I wore some lipstick I had a friend ask if I was having an affair!:rotfl2:
I do wear lip gloss all the time. I guess I think I am still a 10 year old.

I shower, put on clean clothes and do my hair and make-up every day. I could not stand to be around myself if I didn't. On weekends I don't do it first thing, especially if I am cleaning, but I always do it.

Same here. If I don't shower I can't seem to get myself going. Plus, I just don't like how it feels to be un-showered.

Shower, shampoo, and blow-dry every day. Makeup, only when I need to look good!

i definatly don't get ready everyday. if i'm not doing anything or going out of the house, i'll stay in my pjs all day. i think you need a day like that here and there. it's relaxing.

If i'm not going anywhere, I don't. I will shower and such. But I don't do hair and make up if I plan on staying in my jammies all day.

i wish i could do that everyday. well in the wintertime, at least.

By that I mean....shower, hair, makeup, dressed, etc....I hate getting ready everyday, but, like it after I'm all done. I honestly could sit in my pj's all day :rotfl:.
My MIL gets up and gets 'all fixed' regardless if she goes out or not :worship:.
So...I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who looks at it like another chore to do :confused3.

I have to do it Monday thru Friday so on Saturday if all I'm doing is house work and running errands I can look pretty :scared1: . I just throw on some sweats and brush my teeth.

I'm in a "transition" phase;)
I just lost weight....and in the process am finding myself again.

After I had my DD6 I just lived in sweats and a ponytail. My clothes were "multiwear"....daywear, nightwear, workout, could be Pj's:confused3

I now try to "get ready" most days. I have to say it feels good when I'm "done":lmao:
Boy that makeup really helps:laughing:

I'm also trying not to wear elastic pants anymore.

Yes!! But I will admit that there are days when I would love to just sit around the house all day, in my pj's, and not do a thing!! lol

I do shower and wash my hair every day just because it gets me going. But no make up ever - gave it up in Air Force basic training 30 years ago as not worth the time. Also, my hair is wash and wear. I don't blow dry or style.

I do work from home 3 days a week so on those days I put on clean pj's after I shower and head downstairs to my office to work.

I shower every day, but I never do my hair (just blow dry it after washing), hardly ever wear makeup, and hardly ever dress up. I have no one to impress. As long as I'm clean and my naughty bits are covered up, all is good.
