Do you Earn Rewards Points on The Chase Visa Debit Card?

I'm trying to avoid opening up a new credit card account since I'm currently building credit. I have other accounts with chase so it'd be nice to be able to earn points through there debit card. Unfortunately it's not very clear on if you earn points or just get the discounts. Sorry if this is a silly question I just wanted to know for sure before I signed up.
