Do you dress alike at WDW???

DH ALWAYS designs our wardrobe for our trips.

We have so many pairs of shirts that he never runs out of ideas. Of course most of them are too big now- but I wear them anyway..... :teeth:

Jeff,

Did you do the custome embroidery to? I love your sewing!! You do a great job!!

No, I just do the sewing. We've got a good friend that has the machine and a bunch of Disney cartridges. Generally, if we want something doesn't have, we ebay to get the designs for her and she does them for next to nothing. We just got some Spirit patterns for her to do for DD's birthday in June.

Jfulcer, you must tell DH that I think he is a terrific sport, although it really looks like he enjoys the matching tshirts. Great pictures!

Well, I am a good sport. ;) But I'm the DH in the pictures. :earsboy:

My wife is the one that gets all the shirts made for us, I just do the sewing. :)

My son came up with this idea all by himself.

His favorite color is orange. So he decided that all of his clothes should be orange that we would take to Disneyworld.

Well as part of the pre trip hoohah I decided to accomodate him. Everything we bought was orange. However, we did have some problems finding orange underwear and socks. So to not disappoint him I dyed 6 pair of his old socks and 4 pair of his underwear orange. He loved it needless to say. He told me" mommy if I only wear orange you won't be able to lose me" Such a practical little person he was. Although he is 4 years older and not so little he still loves the color orange. I think part of it was the memories we made together and at the age I too was an orange fanatic.

Note-- The one mishap we had when coloring the socks and underwear I forgot to wash them in cold water when I was done to set the color and the dye rubbed of on his bottom and feet. It was so funny to see.

So are you saying that YOU make the outfits? if so WOW!
I wish I could be creative, those dresses were great!

Yes, I did make the dresses, not the shirts. I've been sewing lots of things lately. I'll be posting pictures shortly of the skirts and dresses I made for DW and DDs for Mothers Day, keep an eye out for them!

We do dress alike when we are at WDW, and I guess I just never realized it is the only time we dress alike.

We don't dress alike but I do try to coordinate. Makes for better scrapbook pictures. I do ofter dress my DD4 and DD1 alike. And my DS7 if I can find something that matches. But I do that at home too. They are too little to care right now.

jfulcer, sorry about the mixup! Now I think that you are not JUST a good sport, but you are a "Prince Charming". Tell DW what a lucky gal she is!!!!

Married to Grumpy,

I dress my boys alike sometimes, my mom bought them 5 matching outfits for Easter, and it's fun. We've never had all 4 of us dressed alike, but I'm considering getting us matching t-shirts for our trip. DH will probably go along with it, he said all he wanted out of this trip was to make us happy.....

I bought orange striped t-shirts from Land's End and we wore them on a day trip to MK. It was awesome! The kids were something like 6 and 7 years old then, so they thought it was great. My DS wandered away at the nighttime parade, and a guy slid him over toward me, saying "I think this one must be yours!".

The best part was the picture of the kids in the Pooh store amidst all the tiggers! The stripes blended right in.

But they probably wouldn't wear them now (11 and 12 on our next trip), it would be lame.

I bought Pittsburgh, PA shirts for my DF and I.

They're just plain gray, and they don't stick out too much. I just think it's nice to be able to let people know where we're from. :)

This makes me think of that Me, Myself, and Irene movie where the couple had shirts with the others picture on it and it said "I love ____" on it.

I don't think I'd ever go that creepy. ;)

No, we don't. My SO and our ds have 2 Disney shirts that are the same, but my ds doesn't like to wear the same shirt his dad has on. My dd and I have mother/daughter Disney outfits, but we've only worn them once or twice at the same time. The tops are sweaters and she and I both aren't very sweaterish.
