I called just yesterday to confirm my ADR's and the CM was so rude!
I asked if I could confirm my ADR's and told him that I had the confirmation numbers. He replied that I did not need to confirm them since once they're in the system, they do not change them or remove them. Well, having read other peoples' experiences here, I've learned to be safe rather than sorry, and I always confirm. I replied that I was sure that was true, but would he mind confirming them anyway. He said, "Well, how many are we talking about?"
At this point, I felt like asking him what his problem was. If he weren't on the phone with me confirming, wouldn't he just be on the phone with someone else making reservations? Sheesh.
So I told him that I had six that I'd like to confirm. He asked if I could hold, and of course I said sure. Several minutes later, he came back on the line and told me that he couldn't tell me what I have booked, but if I told him the info, he'd confirm. I guess he's serious about keeping my ADR information secure, who would have known that it was confidential information? But whatever, I don't care either way how I confirm.
So, in the end, I told him what I had booked and he did confirm that they were all correct.

Maybe he was just having a bad day, but good grief!

No I don't waste another long distant call. I have all my ADRS listed on a spreadsheet and when I get to the hotel I check with Guest Relations and have them print out my ADR'S and I check them against my list. If something is wrong I get it fixed right there and then.

I just called and had a similar experience..the CM orginally said there were only two under my name (should have been 5) I asked if we could confirm the others I had to make sure all was ok. She said that they don't cancel them so they would be fine. I told her she just said she only said two and there should be five. She was a bit rude but checked only ONE for me (which was there) and said I would have to check the rest at SSR. I am going to call back and hopefully get someone nicer...I probably would let it go at this point except for the fact she didn't see all my reservations. :confused3

We take a trip to the World 2 - 3 times per year. I always make my ADRs are the 180 day mark. I've never called before the trip to confirm. When I make my ADRs, I notate the time and confirmation number. We've been to Disney over 30 times, and we've never had a problem.

Here's another thought, if you call to confirm a week or so before your trip. . . If there is an error, it can only be corrected if there is availability (which we know how hard it is to get ADRs at short notice).

I highly recommend an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of ADRs/Park Times/Parade Times/Firework Times/Reservation Numbers/Flight info. . . then again - I am OCD :lmao:

I have to laugh, you should see how detailed my trip spreadsheet is! I guess I'm not alone!
