I also asked this in the resorts area but thought I would ask my fellow Canucks!

Do you buy the insurance? If not with WDW TC, then who? THanks

The last time I investigated -- 2011 -- we couldn't satisfy ourselves and to its coverage where Canadians were concerned. I didn't bother investigating this time, but I'd love to hear from somebody who has.

We don't. I now have 365 day travel insurance through Johnson Insurance bit before that always purchased travel insurance through President's Choice Insurance.

I just priced out PC and they are charging $101 each for comprehensive, thats for me, boyfriend, and each kid. so $404!!! $80/adult kids free with Disney looks like it may be my best choice. :O( I wasn't even going to get insurance but I really think I should. all these expesnses!!! sigh.

If i ever actually get off my duff and do it, then YES i'm going with that option. It includes rental car insurance which is a huge bonus since we're renting using our Airmiles and that gives us no protection! We will,as always, buy MEDICAL coverage thru CAA since we've had to use that before and it was seamless. Just be aware that the coverage offered thru Disney only covers medical transportation WITHIN the states so you need to be sure you can get HOME!! That's where the CAA kicks in :thumbsup2 I agree with you that the price is right. OH to anyone sitting on the fence who had yet to book, they are the only company who will waive the stupid "pre-exsiting medical conditions" if you buy it when you make your reservation. Wish i had read that lil note before i turned it down :headache:
