Just curious, I've had a few unexplained experiences, and often wonder do ghosts exist or was it my imagination.

No, I do not.

I put not sure however, I had one experience that gave me the chills forever....:scared:

I brought home my youngest dd from the hospital and she was on my bed in my room with me.

My older dd was in her bedroom right next to us and I heard a voice.

My dd calls to me...'what did you say mom?'....

How do you explain that?:faint:

Yes. I have experienced many things that lead me to this conclusion. There is no doubt in my mind. I know that it is probably something you have to experience to believe. I'm a skeptical person, so I am thankful for these experiences or else I would have gone my entire life wondering.

Yes. Although I have never actually seen one, I'm convinced they exist.

No. But DD15 insists the ghost of Mrs. Allen (the previous owner of our house) lives in our basement. Or at least she did when DD's bedroom was down there. When DH and I moved our bedroom to the basement and DD moved upstairs, Mrs. Allen moved with her. I've never had the pleasure of meeting her. DD says they've acclimated to each other. :thumbsup2

After my sister brought her first baby home she put the sleeping baby in her crib on the 2nd floor, turned on the baby monitor, and then went to the basement to do laundry. She really freaked out when she heard the toilet flush over the monitor! Turns out her receiver had picked up her neighbor's transmitter.

I never really did until my father passed away. He was around a long time after that. I didn't see him, but things happened -- too many things -- and my daughter saw him. She was very close to him, and she still misses him.

The funny thing is, I had always wondered why my dad had books containing folk stories about ghosts. I didn't realize until after he died that he started believing in them after his father passed away -- he was 11 at the time. My uncle told me that my dad had known that his father kept visiting him while he was a kid.

I've had experiences with my beloved Dad's "presence" and he's been gone 21 years:sad: Comforting, not creepy. The most striking encounter was the night Dad died; DS was 4 months old and I truly believe Dad was talking to DS as he went to heaven. I walked in to look at DS and heard him cooing and talking. His normal pattern was to cry and fuss. 5 minutes later we got the call about Dad. I truly believe he was saying goodbye

I think he was too :grouphug:

I've had a few experiences and I've talked to people who I trust about these things and I'm convinced that there is something we don't quite understand yet. I like to think that I'm a practical person and I'm definitely a skeptic so it took a while for me to start believing.

:scared1: I DO BELIEVE IN SPOOKS, I DO BELIEVE IN SPOOKS :scared1:

Nope for the same reason that I don't believe in Unicorns, Fairies, Vampires, Deities, Trolls or Dragons to name a few. :thumbsup2

Nope.

1. I never saw one and nobody I've ever known that I didn't think was flaky did, either.

2. If ghosts really had the power to break through to this world, I think they'd do something cooler than the nebulous, weird crap you always hear about.

Vampires and trolls?! DUH! Of course those exist.

At a nursing facility, I had 3 patients that were pts in the same room at different times, and ALL reported an old man and woman dancing beside the bed. They all described them, and what they were wearing. That convinced me.

I also worked at another facility that was once an orphanage. The social work office was in the room that had been used as the morgue. She had a collection of small toys like the ones at McDonalds that she kept on a shelf behind her desk. Several mornings she came in, and the toys were on her desk, or moved to another shelf. That kind of gave me the heebie jeebies, although I'm not convinced that someone was goofing her a bit.

I've heard lots of questionable stories that make me wonder, but then I hear some ridiculous, made up ones.

I don't know what I believe, but I know it scares me!! :scared:

I'm not sure WHAT they are or WHY they are.... but I believe there is something that we just can't or won't understand.

:rotfl2: Too funny!

I said that I'm not sure. I'm such a skeptical person to begin with. I've never seen actual proof that ghosts exist. I do enjoy watching Ghost Hunters on t.v. though!:thumbsup2
