Do you allow your children to stick out their tongue at you?

I stick out my tongue to my son and he to me (all in fun). Of course, my Mom also says I need to grow up.

But, we have never when we were mad that I can remember. I know for a fact that I could not when I was growing up.

If they aren't in trouble, I don't care. I'll stick my tongue out at them too.:teeth: My ds loves to stick his tongue out at me when he's in trouble. That usually makes my head spin.;)

My kids and I do it to each other all the time. Every once in awhile when are a "little" mad, but usually it's all in fun. My mom who's 52 even gets in on it. Her and I do to each other as well. We are a very close, multi-generational family that lives all together and have LOTS of fun!!:p

Us too! The kids learned it from us so we could hardly reprimand them for it. We even do it when we are mad, it seems to break the tension and we usually end up laughing.

Wow! I never realized that some people would consider it a punishable offense!

Peggy :p :p :p

Yep, when the kids were younger, all in fun. Nothing in anger though. They knew the difference.

Sticking out our tongues is the first "game" DS and I played together. We still play and he loves it and starts laughing.

Obviously when he gets older if he does such a thing in a disrespecful manner then he will be punished but if it is just done in a fun way then I don't have a problem with it. :p
