Do we both have to eat?

I made BOG lunch reservations for my daughter and me, but it's really for my benefit. My daughter is going along to humor me--she likes the atmosphere but would really rather eat at Sleepy Hollow. We are on the QS dining plan, and of course we can have our lunch at BOG and still get waffles later (all meal credits). But I keep wondering if she can just keep me company and save a meal. Is it allowed?

I'd like to order ahead online, so any ideas would be appreciated!

My DD brought her food from another CS in with her. It was fine.

You don't have to purchase anything. How you use your credits and what you eat and where is totally your choice. Even paying out of pocket is an option as well. Your daughter can visit with you while you eat and can certainly eat at her favorite place later!..making you both happy!

There are three of us (1 adult, 2 teens) and we typically order 2 meals at BOG....no one looks twice at us. We have never personally brought food from one CS to another, but I have seen other people at various places, including BOG who have food that is clearly from somewhere else. Since it's all Disney food, I guess there isn't anything wrong with it.

Thank you all! I was a little worried about BOG because seating seems to be a premium, with people sometimes unable to get reservations (dinner reservations mostly, but I've seen people happy to have gotten lunch). DD is relieved that she won't be pressured!

You do not have to have a meal to eat at BOG lunch!...We usually get cupcakes! And the waffle sandwiches are my absolute faves! Remember to get there by 4:30 to be sure to get one! NOT on the dining plan as supersnoop said!

I'll keep that in mind; however, we did use meal credits last year. The CMs seemed confused that we wanted only the waffle--they kept urging us to have a cookie or some kind of dessert too--but maybe we were just lucky. No matter what, though, even if OP, there will be waffles in our future!
