Do travel agents have a special number to call CRO agents

or are they just calling the main CRO line like the rest of us? Just curious if TA get to speak to CRO agents who are better trained, or do we all call the same ones?

There are TA lines, and there are AAA specific TA lines.

My AAA agent gets through WAY faster than I can.

As far as better trained, my TA asked permission to hang up and try again with one of the CRO agents on the AAA line, so no, the TA line representatives are not alway that good either.

The agents at the Grand Gathering # have been overall more knowledgable and efficient than others I have spoken to.
 
Yes the "earmarked" agencies do have a separate line they call into with agents trained for them

These are agencies like dreams unlimited, small world vacations, your magical journeys

Good to know they are *hopefully* speaking with Disney reps who are a little better trained and knowledgeable!

Yes, we have a 1-800 number. And NO, we don't get in faster. I started calling yesterday at 7am and didn't get through until almost 9!!!! NINE, two HOURS later!

And NO, they are NOT better trained. WE just the bad ones as well and I just call back until I get one that I like..LOL!

That's what I thought. My AAA agent keeps getting "bad" information. I think I know much more than she does. I'm worried I'm not getting a code applied that I might should... but I don't know how I can get it checked out. Thanks for the info.
 
I called on the agent line yesterday early in the morning - waited an hour on hold. I asked for the code YQC to be added to my client's package and she said why use that when the YQE gives you free dining?? Why not I say and she proceeds to change the booking. Only problem is that when the fax came in there was NO free dining. I looked up the YQE and the dining portion of that is not discounted. I had to call back to discuss this with them - of course they won't do anything about it - I just want them to give the proper info and of course I had to hold for another hour.

What is it you need? You have something booked and they won't apply the discount? I would find a new one or just book yourself if Disney is doing a better deal.
 
I'm new at this so I'm confused, I called a AAA number I found on the internet and they asked what my area is, which is Iowa, they directed me to an office near me, anyway, this person was giving me prices while we were on the phone, so she wasn't calling any where, I think she was just getting prices off a computer. Does this mean I could get some better deals then what she's telling me, and I'm sure I'll have to watch for any codes or good deals that would come out, we are going in January. After reading some posts, I think maybe I should be calling someone else for AAA rates. Please help with suggestions.
