Do the Disney Resorts give AAA discounts?

Just curious. Sorry if this question has been asked before. I'm still new at the whole WDW Disney Vacation thing. Our first family WDW vacation is this summer 2008 and I was just wondering...............Thanks for your help

Yes, we just booked CS using the AAA Rate.

Yes there are room only rates based on availability.

You can also get a discounted package thru AAA. You have to book w/ AAA directly.

What kind of discounts does AAA give? Is it a percent off? I'd like to know how exactly they save you money since we might join just to get the discount if it's worthi it.

The percent depends on the hotel (value/mod/deluxe) and time of year. Why not call your local AAA and ask them what the discount would be and if it would be worth joining? Usually the saving is a lot more than the cost of a membership unless you were doing like 2 nights at Pop or something like that.
