Yes. Even a wristlet that holds just a phone is a bag.We are trying to avoid the bag check line a couple of the days on our upcoming trip and I was wondering if my wife's small purse that only holds her phone and small wallet would require a bag check. Thanks to anyone who can answer this!
Quick question. How do I post my own post? I only know how to reply. Sorry that this is irrelevant.Yes. Even a wristlet that holds just a phone is a bag.
I'm on my phone now, so I can't tell you the exact wording on the pic version if the site, but look up on the top of the page for a thing that says "start a new thread" or something similar, and click that and create the subject line and post there. Hope this helps!!Quick question. How do I post my own post? I only know how to reply. Sorry that this is irrelevant.
Thank you so much! I'm on an iPhone so I think it'll work.I'm on my phone now, so I can't tell you the exact wording on the pic version if the site, but look up on the top of the page for a thing that says "start a new thread" or something similar, and click that and create the subject line and post there. That is not the case anymore. Each park let me skip bag check with one of those small iPhone purse/holder for our December/January trip. I still had it unzipped so they could take a quick peek.
I'd also be wary about stuffing pockets. People with stuffed pockets are more likely to be selected for screening before park entrance .
We are going to do the same, but I am still concerned that bulges in our cargo shorts will cause problems. If I have my small, compact camera dangling from my wrist, no camera bag, can I still walk through the no-bag line? Then I can slip it into a pocket when we get through the gate.I get through with no problem with everything I need in my cargo shorts pockets. I keep my hands free and sail through the no bags queue.
It looks like your last trip was in 2015; things are much tighter now after the Paris bombings then they were in 2015.I get through with no problem with everything I need in my cargo shorts pockets. I keep my hands free and sail through the no bags queue.
We just got back and saw some people with obviously full cargo shorts pockets bring pulled out of the no bag line and told to empty their pockets. We are going to do the same, but I am still concerned that bulges in our cargo shorts will cause problems. Any bag, no mater how small will be checked. Are these long lines mostly in the morning? I don't carry a bag so that I can avid the bag check, but will want to enter the park late in the day to take pictures, and will need my camera bag. Just wondering if the long lines are all day long....![]()
