that by tearing up my McCain * Palin sign in my front yard is going to change my vote? Honestly....why would you come on to my property, slash up the sign with a knife, twist it up and leave it laying on the ground? Is a plastic & wire sign THAT offensive or are people that stupid? No, I'm not saying that people voting for Obama are stupid....NOT SAYING THAT AT ALL....I'm saying why would you put forth the effort to vandalize and destroy an opponents sign? I don't come on to your property and destroy your Obama sign. I guess this is one of those qestions that will never be answered....unless you come back into my yard and do it again, because yes, I will be getting a new sign, and yes, we will see you when you decide to do it again....

In other words, grow up people....destruction of property is not going to change my vote, so don't waste your time tearing up my sign!

I'm sure all the Obama supporters feel the same way about McCain supporters when their signs have been trashed and stolen as well.

I don't necessarily think this has to do with someone hating your sign. It was probably teenagers running amok. It's sad for both sides that signs get torn down but look at when it isn't an election year. Around halloween people steal pumpkins and smash them and every once in awhile someone will hit my mailbox and knock it over. Doesn't mean they hate halloween or the postal service.

One Obama fan here who doesn't believe in destruction of property. Of course I also wouldn't believe in coming here and posting in such an unnecessarily inflamatory manner.

Dont blame Obama fans, McCain fans are just as bad. Someone ruined my neighbor's Obama/Biden sign a few weeks back. There is hate on both sides

I agree....there is hate & stupidity on both sides. I honestly think it was the teenagers that live across the street.....their Obama sign was just fine this morning....as was the Obama sign on the corner, and the one a block down.

I'm just sick of all the tension surrounding this election.

My mother's neighborhood had all of the McCain/Palin signs stolen. They now bring in their new sign at night or when they leave home.
