Do not buy tickets from Undercover Tourist

Just inquired with Undercover Tourist as to the status of my ticket order, as it has been weeks since my purchase. Turns out that they still have not shipped my tickets, nor do they have any intention to do so. This is despite the fact that they immediately charged my credit card for the purchase (well over $1300). They asked when is the latest date I need the tickets. No regard for or acknowledgement that I am well within my FP+ window and I'm losing out on fast passes every day (which was indicated on my ticket order). Nor any acknowledgement that they immediately charged me for tickets that they had no intention of sending before I contacted them regarding the purchase. I've demanded a full refund, but no response yet.

This is strange, I have used them a dozen times, and each time was a great experience. Fast free shipping, and they included a photo copy of the back of my passes to keep in case I lost them at any point.

AND they are recommended by Mousesavers, a very reputable site.

I have also used them a few times and they are great. So strange.
 

That is strange. I've used them several times as well and have never had a problem. Hope you get this resolved soon!

Did they tell you why they won't ship? This makes no sense based on only what is written.
 
I too have bought tickets from UT several times without any hassles of any kind. I sure hope the OP is able to give us a bit more information about this.
 
We bought Universal tickets with UT -- they arrived a little earlier than I expected, so definitely within the shipping timeframe they had posted on the site.

Sounds odd they would refuse to ship them, but I wouldn't worry about FP's until you're 30 days out. We didn't get our wdw tickets until 5 days before and we were fine (but that was before adv booking for offsite guests).

We've used them numerous times. Our tickets were ALWAYS delivered, within the agreed upon time frame. No problems at all.
 
Another highly satisfied UT customer here. (Multiple purchases) Wonder what the issue with the purchase is.
 
Are they waiting for the tickets to come in maybe? How long has it been since you ordered?
 
I think that you should really resolve this with undercover tourist before coming on the board saying such negative feedback. I have personally used them multiple times and they've gotten me tickets very timely. My sentiment obviously agrees with just about all the responses so far so it's weird that your situation is so opposite

I wonder if you purchased new rate tickets and maybe they don't stock them yet? Regardless of the issue I think you should work out the situation before bashing them as such.

I've also used them many times. They are great.
Just got tickets for USF a few weeks ago.

BFF ordered from them right when the price change happened and she wanted to get the lower price. She was panicy, hurried and bought the wrong ticket. They changed it for her and adjusted the price to the right one.
They have been very easy to deal with.

Yes, more facts, please. We've used them several times without issue and I'd definitely go with them again.

As I recall, they ask you when your trip is/when you actually need your tickets so they can prioritize ticket shipments. When did you order them, when did you ask for them to be shipped, and when is your trip?
 
Our trip is less than 30 days out. I was shocked when I received their response that the tickets had not been shipped, nor were they even scheduled to be shipped.

When purchasing, I indicated that we needed to tickets within their normal 10 business-days shipping window. Now they are demanding to know the exact date of our trip before they even schedule shipping. I believe that the exact date of our trip is irrelevant given that 1) they have fully charged my credit card for the tickets (actually charged me weeks ago) and 2) I cannot book FP+ without the tickets and I should not have to wait until the exact date of my trip to receive tickets I have purchased and paid for weeks ago.

I've demanded immediate shipment or a full refund of my credit card and they have not responded.

I purchased the tickets through the MouseSavers link and have also contacted MouseSavers to let them know what is going on.

Who have you spoken with at the company? Their customer service is typically excellent.

Have you asked to speak to a supervisor?
 
I understand that many of you had good experiences with UT. In fact, I researched them on these boards and it was one of the reasons I decided to purchase through them. I believed them to be a reputable and reliable company. My experience, however, has not been a good one, and I believe it is worth noting given that others may be relying on the information on these boards, as I did.
