Do non-boardwalk resorts have buses that go to the boardwalk?

I'm wondering what is the best (i.e. fastest and least crowded) way to get from either Poly or GF to the Boardwalk after MK closes without having to walk through Epcot.

You can get on the Boardwalk bus at the MK and it will take you there, but that could be crowded. If you are looking to go from a resort to another resort the fastest way is to drive if you do not have access to a car then you could take a taxi.

In reality, after MK closes and the transportation shuts down, the only way to get to BW is to either go to Epcot and walk through, but after Epcot closes at 9PM, not an option anymore. You can then take a bus from Poly to DTD and then transfer to the BW bus there, a VERY long way to get there. Your best bet is to take a taxi to/from any of the MK resorts if you don't have a car.

You can not get on a bus at your non-Boardwalk resort and go directly to the Boardwalk area. Takes some planning and clock watching. Depending on the time of year, you might not be able to park at the Boardwalk, either. The parking lots fill up with people staying at DVC and BW Inn. If you went during the day, it would be easy to go for a few hours while you were at EPCOT or MGM.

When the main lot fills up, there is another lot across the street, on the same side as the gas station. It's a little walk, but less of a walk than through Epcot.

Definately get to a park (closest would be MK), then hop the BW bus from there. After MK closes, then snag a cab.

it had a bus that went directly to the BW and back. I don't know if it still does or not.
