I dressed up on the 4 night cruise on the Wonder in December and enjoyed myself. If I were the "average" cruiser, I wouldn't have known that I could dress up if I wanted to. But since I know some people do, I figured I'd go for it!
I had a lot of fun with it, but I immediately changed into "normal" clothes after dinner was over. I would do it again.
And yes, the dining room did give out pirate bandannas on the 4 night cruise.
We had 8 in our party . The kids had full costumes. The adults did more shirts and head gear just to make an attempt (a lot of Halloween clearance). It made it fun! Especially for the pictures!! Here are some scrapbook pages of our costumes too (Sorry that is how most of my photos are uploaded on-line)! So fun!! (Some of the people in our pics are the servers too)
We don't dress up. DH is not into costume parties, and we try and cut down on the amount of clothing we bring that we will only wear once on our vacation. Pirate gear falls into that category!
