Do men find Kelly Ripa sexy?

My cousin went to a taping of Live Kelly and Michael .

He said he was shocked and couldnt believe how skinny Kelly was in person.

I know he meant sickly skinny, not sexy skinny at all.

Kelly made a comment the other day on the show about sometimes having a brunch for her kids and they actually got to have some bacon because she says she never makes things like that for her kids etc.

(Oh an please dont let Kimmara(is that the posters name who loves bacon?) read this.:)

We don't eat bacon either and we are not skinny. We like to have some control of the amount of animal fat we eat---cholesterol, ya know.

I don't know if men find her sexy or not. I kind of like her. I think she's nice enough.

I have seen a snippet of her from time to time. I remember a few times she was talking about weight like she was fat, like there was some issue. Talking about legs rubbing together or some such. There were a few awkward kind of laughs from the audience and the banter would move on to something else. I just thought it was odd.

I have no idea if KR has any issues at all like that or otherwise. I just remember some odd weight stuff being talked about.

I did read a pp mention anorexia isn't something you catch. I'm sure that is right. I do think (and this is just my opinion) there can be triggers for that sort of thing. I feel sorry for celebrities that have this incredible pressure to look just so. If ever there was a trigger for issues, that would be one. Under the microscope for everything. Yeah, the money is great. But your health would be in the trash bin.

He still might prefer her the way she looked when he fell in love with her. Just like most people still love their spouses after their looks change with age.

Plus she's keeping him rich.

Yes, I'm sure your husband would prefer you look 20something years old too, obviously it ain't gonna happen.

We should all hope we look as well as KR does, much prefer that to morbidly obese.

Well that is the thing, she doesn't look "well" she looks sick. Being too thin is just as unhealthy as being morbidly obese.

It's odd though, don't you think? If we were showing pictures of morbidly obese celebrities in bikinis here and dissing them and wondering if we or our husbands could find them sexy, or if they have an eating disorder people would go ape crap crazy. Rightly so, but if you are what is deemed "too skinny" you are fair bait to be ridiculed.

She does look healthy. She is incredibly fit with no extra fat, we should all be so lucky.

I take that back, that isn't luck, that is dedication and hard work.

If you think she looks healthy, that is fine but she looks ill to me and many others.

I agree. She seems to have a weird clavicle that sticks out but otherwise she looks great. I remember there was a week on there last year where her and her co-host went through a series of serious athletic testing. She came out almost the same as Michael Strahan in terms of fitness. She is very fit. People don't know fit from Adam anymore.

People here are showing a before and after of her probably with a 25 years difference. Yes, your body will look different, harder not softer.

My wife has the same clavicle thing (she's very sensitive about it). She's always been quite thin, but even at 174lbs while pregnant, it was QUITE noticeable.

I also agree that other than the chest area, she just looks "fit" from those pictures posted. There is clear muscle definition on her legs and arms, and there is nothing "skeletal" about her appearance - again, other than her upper chest. She also has very angular facial features and appears to have small bone structure, both of which would exaggerate a thin appearance.

And lastly, you're absolutely right about a fit woman in her 40's vs one in her 20's. It is a completely different look. Gravity does not have the same impact on a woman in her 20's who's not had children. And keeping a fit "look" means more muscle definition later in life.

All that said, as much as she exercises, she could probably be less of a nut on the diet thing. Eat some bacon now & then girl, you can afford to :thumbsup2

People harp on fat famous people all the time. And yes there are other people who will be offended and defend the overweight celeb just like people are getting offended that we're discussing Kelly's unnatural thinness.

Of course whenever people dis on overweight people its done in the exact same way - people talking about it being unhealthy.

The bolded is what I am taking from this entire thread. This would be a first. :worship:

Except that the clavicle thing is not in the first picture -- before she lost all the weight.

Please direct me to the thread on the DIS where people harp on fat famous people without it being locked in two seconds. Thanks.

Like I said on an earlier post, I have a coworker who had the Kelly Ripa transformation. Went from thin but normal to almost emaciated with bones sticking out and jokes about how her husband complains that she lost her ***.

Maybe he does prefer her this way, who knows. And know I don't hope to have a body like that. It looks sickly, IMO. My husband did the cave man diet a year ago and lost so much weight it made him look old, gaunt and sickly. I much prettied him with a bit if a beer gut. YMMV.

Please direct me to one that was locked because people talked about a fat celeb.

But you are the one talking about it so I would think you should direct me?:confused3

You were the one who first claimed we can't discuss overweight celebs, so no, you should back up your claim.

Just because he's still married to her doesn't mean he finds her attractive still. After all, she's the money maker in that family. When he first met her on the AMC set she was a normal weight -- and adorable IMO. I have a coworker who is skeletal and wasn't always that way. She's always telling us her husband complains that she had literally "spun her *** off," (she gets up at 4 am to go spinning before work every day) and counts every calorie and then some. I don't think he means that as a compliment...

I looked different when my husband married me and in spite of going downhill (in my case) he still finds me attractive. And with wrinkles and no hair I still find him attractive. To suggest that I am still with him because he is the primary breadwinner would be offensive.
