Hyper, annoying, loud, caked-on make-up, anorexic. .. nothing sexy there.

I looked different when my husband married me and in spite of going downhill (in my case) he still finds me attractive. And with wrinkles and no hair I still find him attractive. To suggest that I am still with him because he is the primary breadwinner would be offensive.

It's a no-brainier, right? That's generational money. If properly executed, the benefits of that money will bring prosperity for multiple generations.

I think a lot of people do. To say that someone is though is rather ridiculous unless you know them, their lives and hearts.

I don't figure the uber rich are any worse than the person who stays for any reason other than love. Big or small salary, insurance, a home etc. can all keep people from leaving relationships.

I don't know your circumstance, what age you are or shape you are. But if I said that your spouse or partner only stayed with you even though you had lost or gained, wrinkled or greyed because you have money etc I suspect that would be offensive to you.

Ever been in an eating disorder clinic? If you had, you would see many people who look exactly like Kelly Ripa...all of whom claim to be "fit and healthy" who are, in reality, extremely ill. Extremely. People who are trying to subsist on less than 300-400 calories per day (and, BTW, your brain needs 500 calories per day of mainly FAT to work properly). One of the chief signs of anorexia is a loud and persistant denial of a problem. There is even a name for it...Anosognosia....anorexics are famous for this, They can weigh less than 1/2 of what they SHOULD weight and claim to be perfectly healthy....in a very convincing way.

And, yes, people who are anorexics are very dedicated and work very hard to keep themselves in their starvation world. You are correct about that. But, I disagree strongly that what I see in Kelly Ripa is "healthy." Jillian Michaels is VERY fit....she looks nothing like Kelly Ripa. Nothing.

I use to watch Regis and Kelly when I could years ago and she looked much better with some weight on her. She use to talk about eating fast food and making cookies for the kids and everything. I remember they brought in hamburgers from 3 chains and she could identify which was which blindfolded. Of course, I could have also……..wendy's square bun, burger king sesame seeds on bun and mcd plain bun. You could see her feeling the buns. She's probably addicted to exercising now. It does happen.

IMO and having had an eating disorder, the way she talks about her eating habits, her exercise routine, and the fact that she makes comments about her weight often, I think she has an eating disorder. Look at her really well and remember that the camera adds weight. I got down to about 88 lbs and Kelly looks as bad as I did. I'm not saying that she weighs 88 lbs but she is looking pretty skeletal. Her body will begin to burn lean tissue and muscle as a fuel source because she has so little body fat.

My husband thinks I'm beautiful despite the lines on my face and I love him despite his tummy. We laugh and have decided this is the reason people's eyesight gets worse as they age.

I think Kelly is a very pretty lady. I'm not a man but I don't find her sexy. I find sexy to not be just about one's looks but also the way they present themselves. I use to think Kelly was fun and adorable. However, I think her personality has really changed over the years. I don't find her so cute and adorable anymore but rather insincere.

Ok, but I never said whether she was worthy of love or not. People were speculating that he must still find her attractive because he's still with her. And I pointed out they there are other reasons to stay married rather than just still being physically attracted to the person.

If you choose to be offended by the mere suggestion that he may still be married to her for money and fame by proxy, so be it.

I don't think anyone was judging her "worthiness" just with a lot of things on this Discussion Board, it is people's opinions. Some found her attractive, others don't. I don't see why it's such a big deal. It's not like a committee is being formed to shoot her on sight I find Kelly a very pretty woman but I also feel she is too thin (in my opinion). Melissa McCarthy, I think is a very pretty woman and funny as hell but needs to lose weight. That's not being judgemental, she is at an unhealthy weight, like Kelly but on the other side of the scale. That's MY opinion
