Do kids enjoy the Candlelite Processional?

I am trying to work into our schedule a time when we could leave the kids at the Neverland Club (or more likely the one at the YC/BC, but I can't remember what it's called), and my husband and I can have a nice dinner alone. It is looking like it's going to be tough to fit this in, but then I got to thinking about the night I have planned to see the Candlelite Processional with dinner at LeCellier. My question is how much do kids enjoy the CP? My sons are 6, 10 and 12. Would they have a better time back at the hotel playing games and would my husband and I enjoy the CP more without them? If you can tell me how your children liked the CP, I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

You will get all different kinds of answers on this one. My kids enjoyed it very much and they were 2 and 5 years old when they saw it. We are seeing it again this December and they will be 6 and 9.

My kids enjoy beautiful music and the story of Christmas told by a celebrity. They are also used to going to Church every Sunday and the CP is less boring then Church that's for sure.

IMHO, they will enjoy it, but only you know your kids. It's about 45 minutes long.

We took our son to the Candlelight Processional when he was 9 and he enjoyed it very much.
Later in the school year, he had to write a short piece for one of his classes about one of the best days of his life and the day we saw the CP is what he wrote about. The teacher made a notation on the paper that this made her want to attend it herself.

Our DD (4 at the time) really enjoyed CP in 2004. It is something she remembers and she loves to listen to the CD (even in summer!).

What CD?

There was a kiosk outside the stadium that sold CP merchandise and one of them was the a CD of CP. It is the entire show and is really fantastic!

I was just listening to my CD the other day... sort of a Christmas in July thing, I guess.

We took our kids for the last two years. They were 7,5, & 5 last year. We had some small toys with us that they play with in the lines, and brought those into the theater with us. They played with them while we waited. Once the show started though, they really seemed to enjoy it. We're hoping to do it again this year!

My kids really enjoyed the CP the year we went, but I think, like the others said, it depends on the kids. They need a fairly long attention span. It is not geared toward children but is child-friendly, if you know what I mean.

Also, the CD is sold at mousegears as well. We got it the beginning of Nov. last year.

Who is the narrator on the CD? Or is it just the singing parts?

My 5 kids loved it and it will be a special gift to them to go back again! We too bought the CD, it is the entire CP-both narration and music done by shoot I am blanking on her name--Cosby Shows Mom, Is it Felcia Rashaad? I don't that is it but you get the picture, lol.

You are right, Winniedapooh, it is Felicia Rashad (sp?) on the CD. We love listening to the CD.

As other posters have said, it does all depend on your kids and what they like. We took our girls who were 6 and 8 at the time and they absolutely loved it. My parents are taking them back again this year.

Enjoy!!!
