Do I need to do anything special for the Mickey Doll?

My Girl Friend dropped of the Pal Mickey in the tux for us to borrow. I read somewhere about updating him. Do I need to do that since he is new. He was just bought and used in November. Thanks in advance!

He should just automatically update when you walk into each park - just hold your Pal with his nose (the transmitter) facing forward. If he doesn't vibrate and welcome you to that particular park, take him to a store that sells him and they can help you.

Thanks!!! I am so excited. I heard about them and then the price so kind of foorgot about it. My friend is so sweet too le tme borrow him. He is smaller than I thought which is a good thing since I have enough stuff to lug around.
